The GSB Survival Guide
Considering the events last night in the Journal section, I have come to the conclusion that some people are a bit GSB challenged. Coming from a member of two years, I've known to pick and choose battles here. But some people just don't learn. So, I guess out of pure boredom and lack of motivation to do other things on this rather dull Sunday, I present to you, fellow GSBians, a complete waste of your time:
The GSB Survival Guide
- GSB is full of cliques. If you're looking for a place to get away from them, this isn't it.
- CHOOSE YOUR BATTLES. Or choose not to have them at all.
- If someone's personality pisses you off, or if a certain trait of said person pisses you off, and this person hasn't done anything directly to affront you, it's best to ignore him or her.
- Public fights on GSB are very annoying to everyone else not involved. If you must fight, take it elsewhere (PM).
- This is a Green Day fan site. For whatever reasons, there are people here who don't like Green Day. It's not a big deal.
- In the Blah Blah section, most Journals are convoys, and it can be extremely annoying. It's not as open as it used to be on old GSB.
- Not everyone is as real as they seem. Keep that in mind.
- Try and make peace, not war, and you'll end up pretty likeable.
- Like school, there are many populars on GSB. Most of these people make it by being either:
A. Funny.
B. Mean, sarcastic, and biased.
C. Sluttish. Mostly found on Journals.
D. Dujo.
E. The ever-rare case of being an incredibly nice person can lead to fame.
- Outside of the high court of popularity, the rest of us averages are, in general, nice people and easy to talk to. In fact, almost everyone, regardless of popularity, is easy to talk to.
- Don't take things too seriously on here, or else you will probably be frowned upon.
- GSB popularity contests are also often frowned upon by us average people.
- Lerning 2 tipe rite iz smyled up on.
- When tired of Journals or people IN the Journals, hit the message board. There's everything under the sun to talk about.
- You are your reputation.
- I really want a Muse Template.
- Try and find ways to express your opinion in a way that doesn't totally blow off the other person, but you can still make your point. Once again, fights are really frowned up on here.
- Everyone's different on here. Dissing people based on their "scene," orientation, music preferences, that's a big no-no here.
- To wrap things up - opinions are like assholes. Everyone has one. Get used to it.
I seriously have no idea why I posted that total load of crap. I guess, since the events in the Blah Blah last night, I've been a little upset at how some people are so unbelievable rude and stupid on here... and I know that in itself is pretty close-minded, considering what I just wrote, so I'm just gonna shut up and just listen to all the criticism that this random, senseless Blog will undoubtedly receive..

So true, people have to remember though that of course GSB is going to be like real life. It has real people on it afterall.
