I think that the Grammy's were rigged.
I don't understand how Green Day could lose if they had the most votes, over 2,000 more compaired to everyone else. Is it based on judges who vote or us? That's just not right. Does anyone know why they lost even though they kicked everyone's ass in the voting part of the category?

I'll keep this PG, but to My Chemical Emotions, The Red Hot Chili Peppers no way in hell can be ever compared to Green Day or U2. Anthony Chad John and Flea have natural talents and personally, I think that they are so much better than Green Day music wise then I could ever imagine.
And yes, of course they were rigged. All award shows are rigged. It's a known fact. Just because Green Day didn't win, doesn't mean you are able to bash up on other bands.

I know, it's a tragedy.

I totally agree.
Red Hot Chilli peppers suck ass.
they didn't have a huge song like Green Day and U2 did.
plus those are the two biggest bands in the world
theres no way they could have lost

Yeah i know, the 2005 VMA`s were better to me. I felt like i had wasted my time watching the Grammy`s

its so stupid. I wasted my night watching the same people go up over and over again. I think it was rigged too. Green Day and U2 should have won. They were clearly the best in the category they were nominated for. I understand that Dani California was a really big song and stuff, but I still think it was rigged. At least that's what my theory is. ;]

Secondly, I don't know if you can vote for the Grammy's. That's why in my blog I had asked.

To answer Ballroom Blitz's question, it was on the site and in the newspaper. People voted, there was a link on GDA. After you voted, it also kept you posted on how many votes were coming so you saw who was winning abd by how many votes. Another thing was that there were statistics in a newspaper a couple of days before the Grammy's saying who was most likely to win based on either votes or popularity and that section picked Green Day because they had more that 2000 votes over everyone else in the category.

i watched like two minutes of the grammys when the dixie chicks came on, i was like "f*ck this" lol
Kelly Khaos, February 14th, 2007 at 09:20:13am
Where did you find out that Green Day had 2000 more votes? Maybe they lost by default if they realized that there was a computer genius that could make 500 votes per second.
and also - since when could you vote for the grammy's?
Sara., February 14th, 2007 at 01:36:01am
Yeah but this years VMA's kinda blowed. The 05 VMA's will always rule in my book.
ha_ha_you're_screwed, February 13th, 2007 at 03:44:54pm
Yeah, the Grammys always suck.
6 hours of nothing-ness. Very rarely the people who deserve awards, actually get them.
I like the VMA's or the Billboard awards- much more interesting (though last years VMA's were a bit suspcious). The European award shows are just as dull as the Grammy's. The Brits are on tomorrow night. Great!

lol nobody likes the grammys anyways.
AVMAs are better, in my opinion - LOL idk, I like casual award shows.
Magazine Sickness., February 13th, 2007 at 05:30:40am
I know! I personally didn't even hear them mention Green Day.
They had f*cking Mary J. Blige and Dixie Chicks go up on stage five goddamn times each (if I counted correctly). What the hell?! This is the grammys. Not the Mary and Dixie Chicks show.
