Love me for me.

This is just a short rant about something I was thinking about a lot lately.

In this world there is this pressure of looking pretty. With a pretty face you have more chances in love and job, they say. I like making myself look pretty, I like it when people call me pretty, I can't deny that. But what does it help?

We're all normal human beings and we are all beautiful, no matter what. Sometimes we feel very attractive, sometimes we don't. We can't always look perfect, we sometimes look miserable, have bad hair, pimples or rings under our eyes.

But does this change anything about the person you are? It doesn't. I'm still the same person, even if i may don't look "perfect" all the time. And yet whenever something is not perfect you got noticed less.
I love my friends because they don't care if I have a bad hair day or not. They don't care if I look "perfect" or not, they like me because of the person I am.

And I want to find this special someone who doesn't love me because of what I look like. I want someone who loves me for who I am, who still loves me when I look miserable, who tells me I look pretty no matter what. Someone where I don't have to make a huge effort to look pretty so that he likes me. Someone who also likes me with a ponytail and tired eyes. Someone who loves me for who I am and not what I am. Someone who loves me for me.
