Why do people just not seem to care?
Sometimes I just can't stand listening to some people nowadays. They sit at home all day, watch TV, and complain about God and the world. Everything nowadays sucks in their opinion and we can't change anything anyways.
WRONG!
We can change a lot, we just have to do something. Without trying there won't be much change. The future lies in our hands, it is us who have to work for it. We can't just sit and watch and complain.
You have no right to complain if you don't even try to change something!
You cannot wait for a wonder to happen because it won't. See where I live there are people collecting signatures for more demogracy in our country. And what do people do? They just walk by and don't even bother to look what it's all about. Because it's really a good thing. See in Germany you need a certain number of signatures or percentage of the total population to get an idea sent to the parlament to discuss it. This number or percentage should be lower and that's what people collect signatures for. Now look at the people complaining how politicians do what they want anyways. This is their chance to change something!!!! But they don't care, they just walk by and roll their eyes.
How can you complain about something and then be so arrogant and just walk away when there are people trying to do something against your "problems"? Seriously, with that attitude you have no right to compain. If people would actually fight for what they want they would have a better life. But they just sit at home and watch TV.
Also, have you noticed how people show more intest in hearing about how Britney Spears shaved her head instead of the climate problem? They sit at home watching VIP news instead of real news. In Germany this week politicians voted for the EU Contract (I'm not sure if you call it like that in English)- something that affects everyone in Germany and all Europe. Something that involves a lot of advantages for all of us. But no one cares. They just wait for the news about how whoever has taken drugs again.
I think it's sad, I think it's really sad. I wished I could walk up to all those people and shake them and make them realize how important getting involved is. Without people caring for what the government does we don't need a demogracy, especially since less and less people vote. And if we don't stand up for our rights and believes the government will do whatever they wanna. Furthermore, when we stay silent we always give our vote to extremist parties, such as the NPD in Germany (which is rather racist).
Without letting them know what we think they won't even know how we feel and what we want!!!!!!!
This is why getting involved is so important.
This is why we should not just walk away.
This is why we should inform ourselfs.
This is why we should vote.
This is why we should not stay silent.

I get it. People want change in the world and for some reason people don't do anything to follow up their beliefs. You're right though.. Everyone needs to care more.

I sort of think it's just a vicious cycle.
One person is not going to make a difference. One person who thinks something is wrong, is not going to change the law, or the way things are done. It's if they get a group of people together to help fight. But, you're right, most people just don't give a flying crap, and let the chance for change pass by. Then when those people want change, the original person, who has by now givin up, doesn't believe in themselves anymore, and won't help.
I think it is a vicious cycle, the only way to get people out of it, is to make them open their eyes. Which would be difficult, because most people try hard to delude themselves from the truth at almost all costs.

you've got some good points in there.
we can change a lot in our lives but sometimes, for the worst.
:D
This is why we should vote.
tbh, if we don't vote, our vote automatically goes to the elected government here, and tbh, I am not gifting my goddamn vote to some f*cker I don't want to be part of the government.
