My Thursday School Adventure!
Some things to know before you read:
Wally = My Stepdad
Finals = Half days
My Location in Comparison to School = 10 Miles away

Well... I stayed in my classroom to finish my final and I didn't realize that the buses had long gone. So I found someone with a phone and tried calling Wally. Twice. Both times failed, because whenever I'm in a state of panic (which I was) I can't remember anything- including Wally's cell phone number. So I used the school phone to call the house, but no one was there... I left a message telling Wally I would be at the library, and asking him to pick me up when he got back. Well, after sitting in the library for an hour or two and almost getting kicked out for laughing loudly at funny book titles (i.e. "The Bush Tragedy"...In your pants), I decided that Wally obviously wasn't getting the message any time soon. I attempted to walk to the Arcadia to find my bus, but it had already left. I started walking home. I got past all the schools and almost to the railroad tracks when my bus goes by. The driver looked at me and waved, and as soon as I realized who had just past me, I sprinted halfway down the road in an effort to catch the bus before it left the railroad tracks.
No. Such. Luck.
Many steps, and even more "are you fu**ing kidding me?!?!?"s later, I found myself approaching the highway. Then I found myself at the highway. Then, luckily, I found myself about to cross the highway on foot, when Keenan (Lucas' brother) shouted to me: "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?" He offered me a ride home (I accepted graciously) and here I am.
Oh, yeah. I also left my backpack at the library. But mom got that for me thankfully.

And that's the story of why I'm never staying in to finish a test again- no matter how incomplete it is.

No public buses. I live out in the country. Plus, I haven't got money for a bus anyway.
