I think it's a good idea. But Green Day should act in it. I mean..it's their album so why have someone else do it? You know? But yea its a good idea. Green Day seems like they would be good actors.
That would be....weird...?
And it wouldn't really make sense if they were main characters...
If they WERE to be in the movie, I think a cameo appearance would be
cool.
But I just don't see any potential for a movie there...

They're musicians, leave them to what they do best.

I know Green Day don't care about good and bad career moves or
whatever but howelse can I put it?
IT WOULD BE AN AWFUL CAREER MOVE.
Or maybe not.
But the idea just seems like a ten year old's.
Like "Oh let's make a movie out of a Green Day cd."

It's not THAT good an idea to make a movie. You really can't fill 90 minutes with the american idiot story.
If they will make a movie then they will lose even more fans thinking they *sold out* so they're smarter than that. It was a good album, leave it at that.
I seriously really want them to make a movie about it, with all the American Idiot music on it, I seriously think it would be a genious movie!

I think its a great idea! I mean they might lose some fans because they think they 'sold out' but personally I think its stupid to stop liking some thing you like listening to just because more people like them... isn't that a good thing, or is that just me? anywho its not like they could control it, why would they say something like 'Hey guys, to many people like us. We should start to suck for awhile.' thats just stupid.
Anywho the movie seems like a great idea to me and i'd love to see it if it happens and compare it to the lyrics on the cd to see how exact theyt made it and what stuff they added to make it movie length.
