Are girls growing up too fast?

i think its so wrong, girls are trying to make themselves look older than what they are, just to get boy friends which means they will soon enough forget about their studies. its so sad really. especially as the boyfriends they may get are probably older, and that means they are getting hornier and believe me, from my own personal experiance, you will want to kill the guy if he tries to have sex with you unless your a little slut, which im not, and goes ahead with it. and thats just SICK, WRONG and PERVERTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That was so unbelievably close-minded and sexist.

Of course, only the guys are the ones that ever get horny and us poor girls are forced to fuck them So, if the girl agrees to sex, she's a little slut? Lovely. If you're completely asexual, it doesn't mean that everyone is.

Plus, boyfriends aren't the only things that distract people from studies. I wasn't really interested in learning when I was 8 either.

That brings another point up. This girl, Emmie (who's awesome) is a perv. I'm a perv. I've been one since I was like, 11. Emmie is 12. And someone on the board was saying that preteens going around making dirty jokes and saying "i'm horny" is stupid. I don't. Well, maybe twelve is a little young to be horny, but it depends. Some people just start puberty earlier.

My friend and I got a ton of free ones as well. Ages ago, when I was about 14 or so, in Ottawa, they had a big fair. They have it every year, it's really big in Ottawa, lots of bands come and everybody visits. They call it 'The Ex' just to attract more kids. Anyway, they had a safe-sex booth that year and there was this 16 year old or so at the booth who was hiving out a big bucket load of condoms. So, naturally as rowdy teenagers (Not that I still aren't.) my friend and I went up to the booth and grabbed hold of as much as we could carry in our arms. The girl at the booth gave us a cheeky smile and told us to, 'Have fun!'


We were both like, OK, sure, you too. *Nervous smile.* Just her voice was so chirpy, it was funny. I could've sworn she winked at us as well.

Then a good while ago, the "child"-age was higher. Now its getting lower again, im guessing. Without the marriages and responsibility, but with technology and easily accessable birth controls.
Not all teenagers are the stereotype. Not all teenagers drink every weekend, not every teenager flirts with all the boys and have sex with them.
Its like we expect all teenagers to drink alot, have sex and be wild. But when they are, we frown upon it and call them sluts and bitches.

Then i guess ill never be a teenager. Ive only been drunk once, ive never had a boyfriend. Does that really mean ill never become a proper teenager? Just because i dont feel like drinking all the time doesnt make me less of a teenager.

That's a good point, though. Ten generations ago, a fourteen year old would not be allowed to have a boyfriend. 'Course, it's kinda like that in India, but it's coming down. Before it was arranged marriages all the way, with the few exceptions of love matches. Then more and more people got into finding their own spouse, but only when they were like 20 or 30. Then it came down to college students with boyfriends and girlfriends. Then eleventh and twelfth graders. And now tenth graders too. Hell, by the time I have grandkids, Indian eight graders will probably be dating. In secret.
