Any bass players out there?

i want to know if there are any bass players out there cause all i ever here is about guitar players soo post if your a fellow bass player!!!!

well,i don't play bass but i'm getting my bass guitar on the weekend and i want to do bass.

I wanna drop guitar and pick up bass, but mother won't let me. She says "they're the same anyway".

Hah. I wanna learn bass, too. But drums first. Mother says "I don't like the bass. It's...it stays in the same place a lot." and I'm like...thinking of Mike's hot bass lines...o.O;;

i don't play it but my teacher has taught me how to play abit of it .... but im thinkin of playing it though

Simpler than the guitar cos it has 2 less strings. XD That's why Simonon is COOL.

thanks.....ive played abit of it but not enough to tell if it's hard or not because i played it to help someone and i thought it was easy!!!!!!!

well, bass players play diferntly, like insted of playing chords we walk up or walk down to the note, so i wouldn't say it was easier and there are 5 and 6 string basses too so no i wouldn't say eather one was easier.
