to get my guitars i did so:
stole my moms crappy acoustic for a while, just so i could figure stuff out on it
and my grandparents were gonna send my Uncle's old Gibson les paul back to him in cali, but i was like "uh.. no way. I'm taking it" and so i took it with me. its totally out of tune and missing 2 strings, but i only need two since i play bass
and Im also teaching karate classes 3 times a week for like 2 and a half hours to wacked out 5 year olds for who-knows-how long to get a new bass and an amp. ughhh.
I may just stop eating for two or three weeks and babysit my ass off and get the stuff.
i managed to scrape up some mney cause i got a job at a hairdressers (pretty fun, you get your hair cut for free ) and my allowence but i still needed alot so my dad bought it for me and i kept the money
bass - dad had a 40s bass we restored and gave to me
guitar - i work two jobs and bought it
trumpets (2) - where my grams
saxophone - was my brothers
oboe - stole from my high school
flute - a $10 from a garage sale
clierinets (2) - ebay (work money)
paino - old church sale begged parents (i was younger)
drum sets (2) - one was dad's old one the other was mom's old one
I do not own the others i play. Hopfully will soon. Basson, english horn, tuba, piccolo, etc. come ON.
But, I think my mum has agreed to go halfs. For Christmas. IF I can get $130 before Christmas, she'll buy the other half. And, if I can't pay for a full half, then I work the rest off.
I have $116 now, so I'm not far off.
