You can see it that way, yeah. But just look at it, Nirvana release like 15 compilation boxes a year, after Kurts death, that everyone buys even though it's just the same songs over again. They get praised like heros, even though all their songs sound like the other (it's the same with Metallica, though).

Nirvana aren't that special, in my opinion, so I'm really proud of Dave for evolving and making something so much better.

At least Metllica are still making music.

And yeah, I know they were doing something new shit, but it's still old... 'let's do what Nirvana did' kinda like people destroy whatever Nirvana had, in my eyes.
True, and that's scary... maybe they're not over-rated, just lied about, I mean all of these 10 year olds could be dreaming nightmares about Nirvana for all we know.

Some of their acoustic songs are pretty nifty... but I actually perfer One By One over any Nirvana album.
