A good example is the bassist, Tommy Stinson, not only has Mike Dirnt described him as a major influence on his bass playing, he was in the punk band the Replacements at the age of 12. Yes, 12. Green Day also noted the Replacements as one of their favourite bands. One of the guitarists, Robin Finck used to be in Nine Inch Nails another kick ass band. && Izzy still comes to play with GN'R. I've seen the new GN'R twice in concert & they kick ass!! Axl's gonna come back && kick ass with Chinese Democracy!! Oh yeah & to those of you who hate GN'R well, you can't have good taste in rock music. Peace, Love & Empathy xx

Though Buckethead is lame. At the end of the day, it's just a name though. Nearly everyone remembers 'GnR' as the original lineup so this new GnR is just basically another band. In the end, it's the music that matters.. so try listening to the new stuff and ignore the name. It's just a label.. xD He's gone now though. I've always thought his image was stupid but his guitar playing.. is.. alright.
