i dont believe in a certain reliogion but i feel there is a higher type of power, but thats just me.

Well, so many peole pray for little things,
And if I uderstand God correctly and all of that,
He isn't there to give you a thing, because he doesn't owe you one thing,
And then people get mad that God didn't give them what they want...
I mean, it's flase hope.
Or maybe there is a better way to word it than Flase Hope.
That's just all I have come up with to say what I mean.

I believe in God,but I'm not praying. Only talking to him sometimes when I'm sad,lost,afraid,lonely,angry.

This I agree with. I think that when you have no one else to go to for help, God is the "figure" to help you. It's a comforting type of thing, which is why people sometimes talk to Him.
I do the same and I pray as well but only because I like to think of it as a way of Him hearing me.

I don't believe in a god. But it's comforting to pray if you really need to because it's incase someone was there and listening they would hear me. I never know what to believe in.

I do believe in god and I have prayed but that is only because I was brought up to know only catholisism. I don't belive in my religion and have gotton to the point where I disagree with parts of it. I personally don't believe praying works as such but I do belive in karma and that things happen for a reason. I have heard praying is comforting to some but I personally don't find it helpful.

Well, I find it nice when people pray and celebrate their own beliefs, but I kinda find it strange when they thank God or whatever they believe in for anything that happens to them. It's like He's the only responsible for everything and us humans aren't driven by our own will...

I pray at every single Orient home game in order to get through the last 10 minutes without conceding.

I can therefore confirm that praying does not work. Ever.

^ Sounds fair enough. I beliefe faith is the key in this case.
I myself am deattached of all religions, but for some reason I can't get rid of my 'faith'.
It's even written in the Bible: Those who come to Jesus shall be granted the eternal life, something like that. It's all about the faith. Just praying would be cheap, probably.

To say praying in faith, for strength and hope, in a time of need, doesn't make you feel better and stronger, that you could say I was wrong on.
Because for many people that may be true, but either way, it's not god job to grant wishes.
