I havn't, but all the teenies are pissing me off. I'm making this group of people to fight off teenies for Green Day, so far I have about 6 people...so if you wanna join, then Pm me! ahahxD

You don't need to fight off teenies: teenies lose interest for Green Day by their own.

Confused
Why are you getting interest for them?
They don't hurt anybody so leave them. Ignore them.
You're getting interest for something you hate.. Confused

Anyway, you can't make them go right away.
You can't force anybody.

I think what Lik said is pretty right.
But it also a pretty drastic thing to say...
o_o I felt pretty hit when it was posted, because my post was what made everyone go "=O" in the first place.

I do not find myself to hardcore for Green Day. Green Day were fucking amazing...

They are still amazing live and I'd kill to go see them again, but on CD, no... except for 1039, that is a bloody good record.

Mainly because I'm listening to other bands a lot more, and I kinda just stop listening to GD for awhile.

Growing fanbase and overplaying?

Thats all you guys can come up with??
Seems to me that you're all just 'losing interest' coz they are'nt so unheard of now. The cool thing at the moment is getting into bands noone's heard of...why?

I will not be loosing interest in Green Day any time soon. Maybe I'm not so obsessed as I was, when I first got into them, but this is far from meaning I'm going to abandon them as a fan or lose interest in them to a point where I wont listen to their music or anything.

So yeah, that's my two cents on this subject.

It's a bit like it's OK to like 'em when no-one else does but the moment they become popular then they're suddenly not cool anymore cos a load of kids (read teenies - no insult intended - each to their own) have jumped onto the GD bandwagon. Strikes me it's a no win situation.

Personally - have liked them for years - but you can have too much of a good thing. Always good to have a break and then get the CDs out - give em an airing and remind yourself just why you got into their music and like 'em so much. Still, have got all their stuff on my iPod now - so am listening to old and new pretty much every day. Smile
