Have you ever heard Corey Taylor actually sing? He is really really good. All of the band members are really good at their instrument. Joey Jordison, sometimes when I listen to their songs I either want to go and play drums until I can play as good as him, or I feel that I never can, and just want to give up straight away. |

Posts: 121 | April 26th, 2006 at 05:34pm Even though I love them all...Green Day, Fall Out Boy, and Panic! are considered pretty overrated...I'm not saying that Green Day are sellouts, i just think that lately everyone (thanks to good ol' MTV) is obsessing over them..i mean it ok to like them...but when you've only ever heard one song and you think the lead singer is hot...watch yourself...atleast give them a shot for the music...i mean billie is no hendrix...but they still have great music in my opinion (and its not like i am going to diss them anyway, they are my favorite band, so of course i will stick up for them) and even though i like Panic and FOB...i just don't like the fact how they came on MTV and all their intruments were shiny and they had designer clothes...i wanna see bands come into the music scene that look like green day did...shitty instruments and a little dirt on their face...(along with some zits in green day's case, haha) |

Yeah, hated by us maybe, but he's still overrated by the general public. Everyone thinks he's amazing and unique, MTV have practically hailed him an indie-god. And he's not that different, he just sings really high. I see nothing else special. |
