 | July 12th, 2006 at 09:38pm Sara.:We've got some sad news for Sum 41 fans. It was announced today that Dave "Brownsound" Baksh, their lead guitarist, has decided to leave the band. In a press release, Dave revealed, "I couldn't continue on creatively in Sum 41 without being a thorn in the side of the band. As people grow, they change." Brownsound added, however, that there is absolutely no animosity between him and the other members of the band, saying "we are brothers."

| July 13th, 2006 at 05:13am i know...i was so sad when i heard that dave left the band. but he said that he hadn't contributed creatively to sum 41's music for years. so...i guess their music will be the same. i went to their myspace and the remaning members of the band said that they have started rehearsing and have written some new stuff. i really hope that their new album will sound more like "does this look infected?" that's my favorite sum 41 album. |
