Yeah, the Buzzcocks and the Ramones have some ballad-like songs. Some of the local "punk-"ish bands here have some good ballads.
I heard a fantastic punk ballad on The Punk Show a couple weeks ago. I can't remember the band, though. They were independant, though.
Lyke, OMG! What about Simple Plan? Because they're "punk" and all they do is whine.
