It's like those books were written about me. Seriously ... no lie.
You'll know all about me if you read them.
Also:
Keeping the Moon - Sarah Dessen
Dreamland - Sarah Dessen
The Truth About Forever - Sarah Dessen
The Lovely Bones - Alice Sebold
Guitar Girl - Sarra Manning (?)
Those are all sorts of girly books. In case you can't tell, I'm kind of a book junkie.
I read more than anybody I know.
Classics are good, too.
Check out:
The Invisible Man - H. G. Wells
1984 - George Orwell
October Sky - Homer Hickam
One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest - Ken Kesey
A Tale of Two Cities - Charles Dickens
A Separate Peace - John Knowles
To Kill A Mockingbird - Harper Lee
I'm sorry. I can't choose just one. |

| February 18th, 2007 at 07:48pm As the girly teenager I am, I am in love with all of V.C. Andrews' work. The characters are so well developed as well as the plot lines. I have over 30 of her/their books.
Besides that, I like Go Ask Alice by Anonymous and The Story of Anne Frank. They both are autobiographies in the form of diaries, and although the former book is questioned as to whether or not it's real, I found them both so intriguing because the two young women share the stories of pain and torment and how they were robbed of a life. Also, I love The Catcher in the Rye because I could relate to it so well. |
