 | October 17th, 2006 at 05:46pm The Sex Pistols were one of the most original bands ever, and there will never be another band like them. They came together at the right time, and their songs still mean a lot today.
But I have a random question- I've heard Sid is the one who sings "(I'm not your) Steppin' Stone. Is this true? 'Cause it sounds an awful lot like John at parts and not at all like John in other parts. |

it depends on which version of the song you're talking about. john sings the one on the great rock n roll swindle, and sid sings the one on "sid sings" and all his other live albums. |

i prefer the sex pistols... personally. the new york dolls irritate me.
hah in Graphics were doing all about album covers etc. & my teacher's example was never mind the bollocks but he pronounced it "never mind the nuh-nuhs"... he was also paused & was embarrassed at saying "sex pistols" |

On the great rock n roll swindle John is singing.
I have a thing called search and distroy, which is all of Sids new york live shows. and on that there is a version of him singing Stepping stone. |
