When do you think the new Green Day album will come out??

I'm starting to think it won't be out until sometime next year.
If it were coming out this year we surely would have heard something from them about it by now.

Or we can quit complaning and just enjoy FHT's "Stop Drop and Roll" it's just as effective.

I bet its gonna come out later this year or early next year. I hope it comes out soon!

It already reminds me of American Idiot, we got a single in September after not knowing for SO long. So, I think it's going to follow a similar pattern, I read on another site that it will be out in September, then I read on another that it'll be in November. So who knows when.

With American Idiot though, news of the album and the song was already out by the April/May that year. And it's August already and we have nada.

i dont know about anyone, but im having as much fun listening to their other albums as i would be listening to their new one. plus it helps keep my mind off the constant need for the new album

My dad heard on an XM station (I don't know which one) that the new album will be out by September-December of this year, but who the hell knows for sure?

I agree with you AJS92, but the problem in that is, If i hear the same albums over and over and over, I get bored and eventually don't listen to a band for a long time. But we're all different anyways.

Yeah, you're probably right. But, I don't know. I had this stupid idea that it would be out this year because of their "previous release date patterns". Wow, it sounds stupid but the longest time it has ever been between releases is 4 years. And well, of course American Idiot came out in '04. Just a pointless thought.

Well, it's not just that. It's about choosing the best songs; they're just experimenting.
Obviously we want it to be amazing, so i say, the longer the better.

This is even longer than we had to wait for AI to come out. This is getting ridiculous.
