AI was good when it came out , they just tried to do to much with it
and then some of the videos (JOS) were so stereotyipcal (sp?) with jimmy all pissed of and ''punked out''
i actually found that offensive
AND i didn't like how they comfroemd to the whole anti-war/bush thing
suposivly WMUWSE was written about his father , the video was about a boy going off to war
Sam Bayer did the video and killed the song. I just dislike Political Music. It gets so outdated and in a few years no one will relate to it at all when Bush is gone.
That is a great point. I new they should have never done political music. But is it mostly cuz I don't like what they say in the music. |

| July 28th, 2006 at 02:15am i think i like the older music better because you could relate more to it. american idiot is a lot darker and kind of poppy. it's been overplayed on the radio. they kind of went over the top with the videos for WMUWSE and JOS too. the older songs have more of a punk sound to it. and honestly, the eyeliner and all the black and red clothes have been getting a little annoying. |
