I didnt get much of the gypsy genes though, only an unusual likeness for gypsy music and accordions. |

I think he'd be the kind of god to ban all physical education unless he can watch it with a nice cup of twinings on the telly.
That sounded a lot worse than I meant it to. |

 | July 14th, 2008 at 05:13pm Guys, this is going to be a really stupid question, but how would you describe your feelings towards Stephen?
My friend and I got into this discussion and I said that I love Stephen and she told me that isnt true, that is probably just an obsession. I told her that I dont have a crush or anything like that, but that I love him in a way one would love their parents or something and that he is my hero and all that, but her reply was that he is probably just another obsession and that its not normal if I feel like that. I was really pissed off, but perhaps that really is weird, I mean, I lvoe someone I have never met . Thats troubling me. |

 | July 14th, 2008 at 07:05pm It's not an obssession. I'm obssessed with Doctor Who, not Stephen Fry. He's on a completely different level because it's grown out of respect rather than something that entertains me or that I think is cute. He's someone who's not afraid to stand up and say what he really thinks, and I mean really. None of that "I speak my opinions" bullshit that thirteen year olds sprout. If he has something to say, he'll say it without sugar coating anything because he understands that reality isn't censored and by doing so, he makes other people realise that they too can be heard. He's shown me that it's alright that i'm not perfect and that probably sometimes it's a good thing that people think i'm weird and he's made it clear to me that being smart is incredibly cool. I never would've tried so hard in my exams if it wasn't for him.
He makes me proud to be British.
lol sorry, cheesy. |

I think your friend just doesn't understand, I mean, I have never come across anyone who doesn't like Stephen Fry.. ever. Even if it is an obsession (which it isn't), why should it matter? I mean, its hardly doing you any harm, being interested in a man that promotes intelligence, tolerance, being nice to other people and accepting everyone as they are. I think its just down to your personality whether you 'obsess' over things or not, I call it passion! lol.
On another note, guys I am off down South for a week. I shall still be available on the oul text, if needed! I shall miss you all massively, and I'll try to pop in if I can. |

 | July 15th, 2008 at 07:31am Thats lovely guys.
I told my friend that if obsessions dont bother me that they shouldnt bother her either and besides I guess I was more troubled by the fact that she thinks of Stephen as just another obsession and he is much more that that.
Bye Erin, I will miss you. |
