The Carling Weekend festival runs over the August bank holiday weekend with 3 days of music over several stages. Headlining this year are Pearl Jam, Franz Ferdinand and Muse. Here is a lovely pic of the line up

I went to Reading and saw Brendon Urie (of Panic! At The Disco) get bottled. Poor guy. An amazing weekend though, all the same.

I just had to post... I was at Reading on Sunday, I met my hubby and son there who had been there all weekend. We had VIP tickets (through my husband's friend) and we saw the Kooks and a few other celebs milling around.

It was my first time there but hub has been every year for 5 years, he saw GD there in 2004.

I watched My Chem doing there signing and stood about 12 feet away from them. Awwwww they're cute.

They didnt deserve having pissy bottles thrown at them though... that was such poor show by some pathetic morons but they still rocked and I can't wait for their new album to come out. I also thought TBS were good and their lead singer (sorry, dont know his name) walked past us in the VIP bit.

Yeah he mentioned getting bottled at Leeds the day after... he seemed pleased it didn't happen at Leeds! And the guy from Fall Out Boy was talking about it too..

Whoa. I didn't realise it made him fall over! He did well to laugh it off then.. if that happened to me I don't think I'd be able to joke about it. No wonder he kept saying the Leeds crowd were awesome when that's what happened at Reading.
It's stupid when a few idiots mess about like that.

MCR got bottled at reading. I don't know why, they were good
