Sounds like there were some idiots at Reading then!
In fairness though I was disappointed with MCR, I was expecting them to be better.. I still wouldn't bottle them though! Their new songs were pretty good.

Argghhh don't talk about Reel Big Fish!! I missed them cos I got dragged to see Muse (who were pretty good, just not Reel Big Fish). Sad
I wish Reel Big Fish had clashed with Franz Ferdinand instead.

pearl jam. placebo. mcr. above slayer.

THIS is why reading/leeds sucks in comparison to download. no i am not going.

MCR got bottled loads. Slayer should have been above them, for both their sakes.
I'd have liked to go.

Sunday at Reading however looked amazing

Is Sunday at Reading the same as Friday at Leeds?? If it is then that was probably the best day!
Yeah it sucked that Audioslave pulled out, I was looking forward to them and I was in hope that they would play RATM covers!

Mkay, this is me reviving another topic and not making a dupe.
I'm on a rollll. tehe

I went in 2006, for the friday.
Unfortunately I missed placebo, but My chemical romance and Less than Jake were aceeeee.

I am going for the weekend this year, for the first time. Leeds.
Basically 'cause I live in leeds loll. No sense in going to reading, then. : P
I'd love to know if anyone else is going.
And what you think of the lineup this year.

I've heard a few people say it isn't good this year, but personally I love it.
lineup hereee.

I'm there with early camping tickets.

I keep up with the news so here's a couple of self-confirmed ones that aren't on the poster, taken from my post at the Leeds forums.

"Blackhole - http://www.myspace.com/BLACKHOLE
Friday at Reading, Saturday at Leeds. Lockup.

From First to Last - http://www.myspace.com/fftl
No details as of yet. Possible special guests for either slot?

Glasvegas - http://www.myspace.com/glasvegas (Bulletin?)
No details as far as I know.

Jeffrey Lewis - http://jeffreylewisboard.free.fr/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=1265
No details.

Louis XIV - http://www.myspace.com/louisxiv
Friday at Reading, Sunday at Leeds. X Stage most probably.

Mindless Self Indulgence - Street team mailout
Nobody knows...

The Rascals - NME Magazine
"6pm" on the Carling Stage, same day as Last Shadow Muppets. "

Of course, bands have self confirmed and pulled out in the past but I've seen the confirmation stuff from all of them personally so...

Whoever said that should stick their head up a cow's arse and start fucking eating 'cause this is the best line-up at Reading/Leeds in years.

And I'm glad I'll be there to witness it.

Quite right, I had to choice to go on a media course or go to Leeds fest and I couldn't make up my mind until the lineup was announced. It looks amazing!
