 | September 2nd, 2009 at 08:28am Pretty much the whole of the Lock-Up tent was a circle pit at one point xD
Doesn't beat Municipal Waste though. There was a circle pit around the central pole for the WHOLE time they were playing. It was so dusty in there that every time I blew my nose afterwards it just came out black >_< such great fun though!
YES go see Frank Turner if you ever have a chance, he's amazing, everyone I've spoken to agrees. It was just really strange to have seen him last in a tiny room above a pub and then suddenly he's on the huge NME tent. |

Age: 34 Gender: Female Posts: 6362 | September 3rd, 2009 at 03:52am Eheee yayyy! I want to find the video I took of Anti-Flag's epic pit last year now, I'm sure it's lurking somewhere on my laptop.
I don't know if I can this tour.
I'll be down in Manchester by then, and his Manc-gig has already sold out.
There's still tickets for his Leeds one, but I suppose getting the chance to pop home and go depends on whether I have time off and if it's sold out by then or not.

Will not be missing blink, g 'n' r, nofx, frank turner, crystal castles, & two door cinema club (unless I get tickets for the latter later this year)
Also a bit of lcd soundsytem and phoenix would be lovely but I think going by my initial thoughts I'm gonna miss them. :/ |

 | March 30th, 2010 at 09:25am Got my ticket for Reading! I had no luck myself but my friend phoned me up while I was in the pub and said he'd got two coach packages. I actually love him now.
Can't wait for NoFX especially. Blink, Arcade Fire, Cypress Hill, Weezer, Modest Mouse, GnR all for the first time will be amazing. Plus seeing Biffy, Frank Turner, Lostprophets, QOTSA, Limp Bizkit and Paramore again will be supercool. I just really really can't wait already.

 | August 22nd, 2010 at 11:40am Suits and ties. I also still have my pipe from Download festival (I think). We will be bringing an upper class aura to what is often called a riot.
Who you most looking forward to? Top 5? |

Ummm. Crystal Castles, Q.O.T.S.A, Frank Turner, Blink-182 for lovely nostalgia value and G'n'R.
Weezer, NOFX, Two Door Cinema Club, King Blues & The Cheek didn't make the top 5 but I'm excited for those too.
And you?

 | June 12th, 2011 at 02:47pm I'm going to this year's
Primarily because of the headliners, especially Pulp, but there's so many acts I want to see! So excited |

 | June 18th, 2011 at 07:35am Sonisphere pisses over any other line-up this summer imo, but I had great fun at Download off the back of a few bands so hopefully Reading will be the same. There's enough for me to enjoy anyway.
Pulled Apart By Horses, Offspring, Rise Against, Madness, Jane's Addiction, The Bronx, Elbow and Twin Atlantic for the bands I haven't seen before. Muse are the only headliner I'm really interested in. |
