I think some people here are a bit too young to understand the full use of pornography, that's all.
I don't think age is a revelvant factor always, especially with people on this site.
It is when hormones aren't involved.
Well, teenagers tend to have alot of those.
besides, porn can be used in sex ed lessons and whatnot, so it can be a good thing.
personally i find it a bit odd that people would want to look at total strangers naked, but thats just me.

Its intended for those over 18 for a reason. I don't think that would be approperiate in a setting like that.
I don't see anything wrong with pornography as long as the people in the pictures/videos/etc. were consenting to being filmed/photographed. I personally wouldn't watch it or get anything out of it (Why watch other people have sex to get off when I could just have sex myself?), but that doesn't mean other people shouldn't be able to. I mean, it's just people's bodies. If someone wants to show theirs off and someone else wants to look at it, go ahead. Just because I don't understand it doesn't mean it should be outlawed or anything.

The human body is beautiful. I'm an artist myself in ways, and taking classes, nude is the most important out there with the others. It's not something that needs to be hidden. I believe that if people would stop freaking out over it so easily, then their kids might not be so finicky over it themselves. In Europe it's not something kids snicker at or adults gasp over. It's normal and they grew up seeing it in a casual manner. If we did that here, I'm sure that it wouldn't be such a highly argued matter.

well they DO use low key porn, if you think about it. well its more like erotic art and diagrams and stuff, but some of the vids they show you have pornographic parts

I don't get why Sex Ed videos at school always have ugly people. There are always like 40 plus old women with tits so saggy, they go down to their wastes, and all the guys are short, stocky, and have pot bellies. They never look good, and them having sex doesn't look any better. And I'm not even going to get started on when the mother gives birth.
It's like a constant reminder that our bodies will someday end up like that. I'm not sure they will for some people in my class though, what with all the plastic surgeries. One girl in Standard Bio is like half plastic, I swear.

Haha. We never had to watch anyone give birth. Our science teacher in seventh made us watch this thing with people get all sorts of injuries and problems and how the body works. We watched a man fall off Everest, get an icicle through his arm, get his angle twisted around, and get a bleeding eye. We watched the stomach of someone who swallowed poison. Its sick, I tell you. The human stomach is the worst organ in the world.
But then, the last thing was a woman giving birth. The teacher gets up, turns off the VCR and he goes "No. We're not watching that. It's disgusting. Makes me never wanna have kids..."
but you know, his girlfriend got pregnant a couple months later. I heard it passing by the teachers' room.

I think the cheap pornography that you buy from the newsagents is never tasteful, and is pretty much just vulgar. But, I do think that sexuality and nudity can be extremely powerful, and beautiful.
I think there's a difference between someone posing for page three of The Sun, and appriciating real art capturing the naked form.
I don't really know how to phrase this argument well, so if I'm not clear I apologise, and I'll try to explain further.
