Christopher Gutierrez. Born and raised in and around Chicago, Illinois. Although by some he is expected to act like a civilian, he still remains the punkrock, straightedge kid he’s always been. He says what he means and follows his head and his heart. The majority of his money comes from doing hair on Madison Avenue but he has proven to be an amazing author. Currently he has one spoken word CD, The Dirt Of An Electric Boy, one published book, On The Upswing Of Life, Love And Regret, and a second book in the works, tentatively titled A Life Deliberate.
At first the majority of Chris’ internet fan base may have been Take This To Your Grave fans but now Chris has a hardcore fan base all to himself, resulting in the start of his own street team. Chris stays connected though his Livejournal http://askheychris.livejournal.com, updating frequently each week with motivational rants or stories about teenage-like antics.
As it says on the front of Chris’ first book his stories are ‘True Tales of Mayhem and Awesomeness’ where as his spoken word CD has more of a motivational feel to it, with tracks about being a waste of potential, love, passion and accomplishment. His next book is expected to be almost twice the length of his first, laced with pictures and heart wrenching stories in between the laugh inducing ones."
Chris was also in Release The Bats and best known for of course being 'Hey Chris' in Fall Out Boy's song "Grenade Jumper". He is also referred to being a 'scene king' and is a member of Worlds Most Hated along with 'his girls' Alicia Simmons, Miss E , Eliza Cuts, Sarah Dope and Meghan Mayhem.
