Well, I had one person's death spoiled for me (by my own fault). To make a long story short I found out the Lupin died before I got to that part in the book. I was pretty sad about that, specially after I read that him and Tonks were having a kid. I wasn't expecting her to die either. Infact, all the people that died I wasn't expecting to die. Dobby, Snape and Fred's death totally came unseen. And well, Hedwig. I thought that Hagrid was going to die. I'm so glad he didn't. Also, I thought maybe Ron, Hermione or Harry would have died. My sister thought that Harry should have died. I think it would have made it alittle more interesting. The people that I didn't want to die was Lupin, Hagrid, and Mr. and Mrs. Weasley. But only one of the four died. (Mr. and Mrs. Weasley were so cool )
Snape being good was no surprise. I saw that coming.
The 2nd to last chapter, where Harry was talking to Dumbledore, was SO confusing. I understood some of it, but not all of it.
And all the secrets that Dumbledore had were so drepressing. I know that the guy was only human, but he seemed perfect. In the 6th book when they talked about it I thought it would turn out to be lies or something. Although it isn't surprising that it was all true.
So the nineteen years later part was funny. Harry and Ginny getting together wasn't surprising, and their kids Albus Severus, James and Lily. What great names (I guess). And Ron and Hermonine, once again not surprise, and then their kids ofcourse. I thought that was pretty funny.
My favorite quote out of the whole book was:
"Do not pity the dead, Harry, pity the living and above all those who live without love." -Dumbledore
I don't know why I love that so much.
So, yeah, I guess that's I have to say. |

 | January 6th, 2008 at 12:01am I'm glad you liked the book. I really have to read it again.
Tonks and Lupin...I still get all sad just thinking about it.
My favourite quote was, I can't remember it exactly, but it's something like "Just because it's in your head, Harry, doesn't mean it's not real" - Dumbledore. |

I DON'T HAVE THE BOOKS RIGHT BESIDE MY DESK SO I CAN GRAB THEM TO LOOK THINGS UP QUICKLY!

As for Harry living, I think it really wouldn't be J.K. to kill him.
I know, I know, she always throws curve balls, but honestly.
Building up all this momentum for 10 years to just have him die...
people everywhere would mourn(no matter they did anyways)....it just wouldn't be a way to end the book.
The protaginost dieing???....Although, lot's of shocking deaths happened.
And besides, she did give us all mini-heartattacks, when we thought Harry did die.
I love this book. My favorite. |
