| December 29th, 2007 at 02:44am Maybe foxboro hot tubs are Green Day, maybe they aren't. But we'll never know until they iether slip up or admit it. If it is them, they are doing this band, the network and other side bands and events such as clothing lines and fashion lines. They have put off releasing their album a few times now, maybe they are too scared or to proud to admit that they don't want to be this band anymore that's why they are pursuing other oppertunities.
That's my theory, I may be called a liar or something for actually thinking this against a good band that many, many people like. But I find it odd how they keep putting anything concerning Green Day off. |

Posts: 131 | December 29th, 2007 at 04:06am the guys of green day dont do things like the hot tubs or the network because they dont want to be "green day" any more. they do it because they still enjoy what brought them into this career in the first place - which is making music they believe in. and music they get a major kick out of playing live!
every side project is simply them spreading their creative wings...its them allowing themselves to grow in a way all too many fans just dont want them to grow.
fashion lines??.... they have their own style and there is nothing better than wearing the clothes you actually want to wear. and if you get the chance to design them.. then what is wrong with flaunting them?? if you can design clothes that you love, feel comfortable wearing... why not share them?
as for the side bands.. they know so many other talented musicians, writers, producers... why should they stick to just green day stuff?
box any creative person up and you kill the muse. in fact, box anybody up and you just end up with a rotting pile of crap. |
