But I relate to Christian and Gloria more than JOS and Whatsername, which could either mean I like 21CB better for that or I like AI better 'cause the characters are different from myself..... x.x I've no idea.

WHEN THEY KISS IT'S THE ALBUM COVER!!!' and at this day and age I really don't like the idea of seeing bullets nearly hit people I care about (on a fan level). It's also not how I imagine the song. Much like 'Wake Me Up When September Ends'. It's also so stylised it's untrue.

I truly belive, however, that the [i]American Idiot/i] album had more depth to it rather than the 21st Century Breakdown album. I belive that they are BOTH good albums, but [i]American Idiot's/i] characters are more...realistic than the 21st Century Breakdown's character's. Than again Christian and Gloria are realistic as well. All in all, there both good albums, with good story plots and characters, and more importantly, there both made my GREEN DAY. So yeah, that's a win. It's something unpredictable, but in the end its right. I hope you fuck yourself every night. Origianl, yes. True, also yes. -Imani=)

I agree. I find some little similarities. The only difference I see is Christian and Gloria have more of a love relationship than Jimmy and Whatsername. In my opinion, I like Christian and Gloria better.

For those of you who, like me, are having trouble understanding the storyline, here are various explanations/interpretations of the meaning of "Last Night On Earth" and the storyline of 21st Century Breakdown.
