King For A Couple Of Days  Age: 34 Gender: Female Posts: 2218 | I've had ME/CFS (Chronic Fatigue) since I was 16ish and I was suffering really badly around the time I was in Sixth Form and when I started full-time work in June last year. My lowest point was probably when we went to see Green Day in October - I was exhausted before we even got there and my ME brain meant that I couldn't even remember any of the gig. But, although I was pretty woe-is-me for a day or two, I decided to sort myself out and get better - not as easy as it sounds, but determination and optimism is a big part of recovering from something like ME. My goal was to be better and have more energy by the time that Green Day played again in the UK. Then Green Day announced the June gigs. As if there could be any better sign to stop feeling sorry for myself  It's been better and better from there, really. |
