Political Opinions (Bush/Obama)

Well, I've heard a lot of stuff about Obama. For example: he's lying about his religion, he has a fake social security number, no one can find his birth certificate, etc. And he's been on 6 vacations since he's been president. What's your opinion about him? Is he BETTER or WORSE then Bush? My whole family thinks he's bad.
Speaking of him, what about Bush? How did you feel when he was president? In my opinion, he was a shitty president. At this moment...I think I actually like Bush more... i never thought I would say that. But I just wanna hear YOUR political opinions on them, and other political crap if needed!
I'm not sure there's another like this one, BUT if there is, lock it, tell me, whatever.

I'm not American, so I don't know much in great detail about what EITHER of them have done, but in a general sense, and being a liberal myself, I prefer Obama.

Fine I'll say it even though I'm going to regret it. Obama is going against the Constitutiion (The founders of this country are probably turning over in their graves right now). The National Debt is really high and he just keeps spending more money. Bailing out all these companies is just putting us in bigger debt. He is friends with Bill Ayres who did terroristic acts in the 60's. Healthcare. To get a school loan I can't just go to a bank, now I have to go through the government. That's slowly taking away my freedoms. He claims not to be Socialist but he was part of thhe New Party (also known as the Socialist Party). I have prove of this. He's parents were Communists, he even wrote this in his book Dreams from My Father. Like six of his czars are Communist. And they admit it! The Stimulus Package. He is failing at getting the Ecomony back up. He said he wasn't going to keep anything from the public but he is and the New York Times even wrote an article about it. Keep in mind they are very liberal. He is trying to get Fox News shut down for telling the truth (none of you will agree with that) etc.

Oh, and I don't want to hear any crap about blaming Bush. You can't do that forever you know.

Bush wasn't the best, but he was better than that. I don't want another president like Bush, but I'd rather have that than Obama.

personally idgaf about bush and obama seems like a cool guy. although, it's not my country he's running so my opinion is probably invalid

First off my parents are really angry for what Obama's doing (especailly my dad), second off the only reason people are doing shit about him is because he thinks "he's doing a good job" but really he's not, and third mostly almost all the people in the United States want to get rid of him for what he's doing. Not trying to sound like i'm a rebel or anything, but i think America just wants to get rid of him period. All the taxes he's been doing, where's the money going? TO THE FUCKING PEOPLE WHO DON'T GET OFF THEIR ASSES AND DO THEIR PART INTO MAKING AMERICA RUN!!!! and also TO THE FUCKING GOVERNMENT TO LOOK GOOD!!! That's why I put this up. My dad was making such a big deal about Obama and he was comparing him to Bush against my grandma and aunt. So I was like "Y'know...i wanna hear OTHER people's opinion." I haven't heard much about Obama. All I hear about him is stuff about their little new dog and his kids and their vacations. That's it. If he's not gonna do what he says and he's jus gonna do nothing but use all the power and wealth to fucking slack off, then he can screw off as our president. I don't like it.

Now we have to wait to get operations. In the mean time I could die while waiting. People are going to be going to hopsitals just because they can. Even though they aren't that sick. So, what about the people that are majorly sick? People are just going to take advantage of it. Quality of Healthcare will go down. Did you know that a lot of students have changed their minds about being doctors because of it? That means there is going to be less doctors. You won't be able to choice the kind of Healthcare you want. The government will be doing it for you. It's also not really "free" we will be paying for it in taxes. So, taxes will be higher. Just because Americans are uninsured doesn't mean they can't receive health care. It is illegal to refuse emergency medical service because of a lack of insurance. The government is more likely to pass additional restrictions or increase taxes on smoking, fast food, etc., leading to a further loss of personal freedoms. Patient confidentiality is likely to be compromised since centralized health information will likely be maintained by the government. Healthcare equipment, drugs, and services may end up being rationed by the government. In other words, politics, lifestyle of patients, and philosophical differences of those in power, could determine who gets what. Did you know that now you might have to pay for an ambulance ride?

... well britain's had the NHS for quite a long time and we haven't crumbled to pieces due to lack of doctors and the sudden upsurge in people unnecessarily seeking medical advice!

i'd much rather people abused the system then for people without insurance to not be able to go to the hospital when they really need it because a.) they can't afford hospital bills and b.) they can't afford to take time off work. it may be illegal to refuse medical care due to lack of insurance, but that doesn't mean that they won't get stuck with the bill for it after.

there is also always the option to go private if the NHS or whatever the equivalent would be isn't up to your standards, and that way you get to jump the queue and not "die waiting for an operation."

... also, i was fairly certain you pay for ambulance rides in america? cause my friend broke her back while we were out there and they tried to make her pay for the ambulance and all her medical bills, but we don't do that in england.

We do have to pay for ambulance rides tho.. It used to be you didnt have to start paying till the third time, but now you have to pay everytime.

Theres people all over America that have died because they couldnt afford surgery. Although, you wouldnt have to wait and you could go and get surgery there would be people who also really needed operations dying just because they didnt have the opportunnity at all. At least this way they also have an opportunnity just like you. If you die while waiting for an operation at least someone who before never could, got surgery that could have saved their lives. Its just equal.
