Boxers are an amazing breed, typically either fawn or brindle, often with a white underbelly and white on the front or all four feet. But WHITE?
During WWI boxers were used on the battle fields, their brown colours merging in, except, white ones did not. Hence, to save money, breeders just killed their dogs. This continued and still does!
There are no reasons to kill White Boxers, other than they are less popular, and they can not be shown with the breed [only agility, obedience…etc…].
Myths are wrong, the only difference to other Boxers, is fur colour
Can you say this is a reason to kill this breed?
In My opinion, No.
Skin colour for humans does not matter, so why does fur colour for Dogs?
But it's absurd to kill them because of this, I didn't know stuff like that happens.
Many dogs, such as dalmatians for example, get born with defects such as deafness, and yet they aren't killed.
Nope, they're not more prone to skin problems, but they have a higher risk of being deaf
I think it's 2% of non-white boxers are
and 18% of white boxers are
White dogs and cats typically have coordination and hearing problems, however I still don't think that's a fit reason to kill them at all. However, for show dogs, a white boxer wouldn't cut it, and alot of breeders breed for the purpose of creating show dogs. Im not saying that justifies them being killed, but I think it would be better for them to be euthanized than suffering in an animal shelter when they are unwanted. It's a touchy situation.
i liike dogs and i do like boxxers can anyone tell me do they make good family pets, remembering that i have 3 children, would they be safe with a boxer

Boxers can be pretty hyper when they are puppies, but they grow up to be mellow dogs. Some people I use to babysit for had a boxer and he was great with them. They have a nice personality.

i grew up with 2 boxers and my mum grew up with one, they are great with children, very over protective about them, it's one of the reasons they are so polpular
