I couldn't agree more. It won't change who you are inside, it changes the outside.
Transsexuals feel they are born with a male/female brain and a body of the opposite, so by having a sex change they are simply matching the two.
Oh, and on a sidenote, gender is whether you're mentally male or female and sex is whether you aer physically male or female, so techincally the thread title is a bit misleading

Some straight people may not want to be with a person liek that.. as shallow as that may be.. and other people like them who have not had any operations are not intrested in those parts...
I don't see how you would be allowed a sex change for any other reason than being a transsexual tbh. They are very high risk operations, you have to go through years of hormones and therapy. Why would you choose that unless it was the only way to make you who you should be?

If a lesbian woman got a sex change she would then become a straight male. You cannot be a male lesbian.
Oh, and if anyone wants to correct me, feel free. I'm not transgendered but I have quite a few transgendered friends and am later in life going to be a therapist for people with gender issues so any help would be most greatful
Did you know that people try to mark off transgender people with a disorder? I can't remember what it's called but it pissed me off. Just because you feel right in a man/woman's body does not make you mentally retarded. Look at some of the most sucsessful people out there. Jeffree Star is a cross-dresser/transgender man and he is incredibly sucsessful. I think people need to start excepting reality.
I don't know if it's the one you're thinking of, but there's one called autogynephilia, which says something like any transgender person who is not straight is turned on by themselves o_O

that's what it said. it was very homophobic the way they described it. they were trying to pull them off as unstable and metally retarded. it made me mad.
