Alice Cooper's non-profit foundation; The Simpsons
On May 7th Tre joined Alice Cooper and other celebrities for a fundraising golf event.
Recently on MTV the Simpsons movie cast mentioned Green Day's involvement in the upcoming movie, released on July 27th. It's nothing we didn't really know before, but "it's happening".
The news was confirmed by Reprise Records and 20th Century Fox Studios in February when they were noticed in the trailer for the movie, but that was all we knew.
“Green Day is in the movie — I will publicly acknowledge that Green Day are in the movie,” "Simpsons" creator Matt Groening laughed. “They're really good sports and I think we both honor them and 'Simpson'-ize them. You can take that however you want. They're really nice guys”.
In other news, Adrienne thanks everyone who contributed and commented to the recent Green Day + NRDC video: “I'm so honored to stand among you...together we can all make a difference!”
She also mentions the recent out-goings of the Armstrong family in New Orleans, urging everyone to keep positive and help out in even the smallest of ways.

Tre does it all--drums, plays golf. He's awesome. Definitely can't wait until July to see "The Simpsons" movie finally and see my favorite band in cartoon form. Maybe I can drag my dad with me to the see it. Adie is my hero!

i found this on www.greenday.net a the day before, which as ive been on GSB and i thought this was the only place to get the latest green day news, it turns out green day net also gives more feedback, i.e billie joe building houses in new orleans diary.
but apparently moe is obnoxious to green day (they dont play at moes, by the way!) which i heard.
