Green Day and U2 nominated for the "Best Hook Up" award
Green Day and U2 are nominees for the Best Hook Up award at the MTV Australia Music Awards with their collaboration The Saints are Coming.
In 2005 Green Day won Best Group and Best Rock at the same awards show. They performed twice and accepted their awards live in Australia, but it's highly doubtful that they'll attend this year's award show in April. You can vote for them on the MTV Australia site.
