Green Day in The Simpsons Movie
According to other sources, as well as word by life-long Simpsons fans, Green Day seems to play a part in the upcoming Simpsons Movie. They show a cameo as a stage they are playing on sinks into the water, except it seems to be only Billie Joe that falls into the water. You can watch the trailer for the movie (where you can see the clip; short but sweet) on Apple.com.
The movie is set to be released July 27, 2007. There is no word yet if Green Day actually plays a part in the movie, but they aren't mentioned as the cast is blown through in the trailer.

If you possess eagle-eye vision (or a super-slo-mo button) you may have already been able to make out none other than Green Day in the just-released trailer for this summer's “The Simpsons Movie.” The trio are shown performing on what looks to be a capsizing stage. A spokesperson for 20th Century Fox wouldn't confirm anything, but according to the band's rep at Warner Bros./ Reprise, the erstwhile American Idiots do appear in the film and will even have a song featured. It's not clear if the tune will be something written specifically for the Simpsons' flick, which hits theaters July 27.
Omg! i can't wait! thats sooo awesome that they are gonna be in the simpsons movie! I'm so excited!

How is it possible to show eyeliner in Simpson style drawing? Only the girls and women have eyelashes on The Simpsons, and eyeliner would make Billie Joe look transvestite. And Tré would look like(quoting from Principal Skinner's mom on The Simpsons) "A malaysian transexual." (no seriously, Tré looks asian.)
