My Truly Chemical Romance, chapter 28
I woke up the next morning and somehow forgot where I was! Then as I looked out onto the horizon, to see the Disney castle sparkling in the distance, everything came flooding back to me. But then I realized something was missing.
"Wheres Gee?" I asked myself as I walked in from our deck. Suddenly he jumped out at me from the curtains.
"Boo! Did I scare you?" He asked, smiling and giving me a hug.
"Yeah, good way to wake a person up, baby!"
As soon as Gee let go of me, I walked the rest of the way into our room to see a beautiful fruit platter out for our breakfast.
"Aww, Gee! This is beautiful!" I said, digging into the amazing plate he had set up for me.
"Well thank you, baby! I was thinking that after breakfast, we could go down to the wave pool in the hotel," he replied, giving me the puppy dog face.
"Sounds awesome!"
With this, we both ate our food as fast as we could, changed into our suits, and raced down to the pool.
*At the hotel wave pool*
Gee and I threw our towels down and ran straight into the water, dodging waves as we swam.
"This is awesome!" I sceamed over to Gee. Suddenly though, the waves stopped.
"Aww," Gee said, looking sad.
"It's alright, they'll start back up soon."
At this, I grabbed his hand and we both started floating on our backs, going farther and farther back into deeper waters. Quickly after we reached the end of the pool, the waves started back up again. This time though, they were higher. Much higher.
I noticed I was struggling to stay above water, so I tried swimming to the later. I couldn't do it.
"Sonia, are you alright?" Gee asked, noticing how I kept going under.
I didn't have enough time to respond before the water captured me again. Suddenly I saw Gee dive underwater and put me on his shoulders. He put me on the concrete siding of the pool as I gasped for air.
"Thank you, Gee!" I said inbetween breaths.
"Any time, my love! Any time!"
*Back in our hotel room*
After the incident at the wave pool, we went back to our room to grab a bite to eat and relax. That brings me to now.
"Sonia, I have one final surprise for you to end the trip, since we're leaving tomorrow," Gee said, taking my hand and blindfolding me.
It seemed like we walked for miles before he finally took the blindfold off.
I gasped. There we stood, at the top of the Disney Castle, a beautiful dinner set up and fireworks going off all around us. It was like a dream!
"Gee! I love it! I love you! Thank you!" I barely said, on the verge of tears.
"I'm glad! And I love you too, more than anything in the world!"
We sat and ate a beautiful dinner. Staring into the beautiful horizon, but more importantly into each others' gaze. It was true fairytale love. And at that moment, I felt it would never end.
