My Lame Title (Exciting, eh?), chapter 4
Billie Joe thanks the crowed, and they all ran backstage to the awaiting Crash.
"You guys were great!" Crash ran up to Tre and threw her arms around his neck, and he hugged her back.
"Hmm... Wow, thanks." He grinned at Billie Joe, who took Mike by the arm, leaning him out into the crowd.
"I like how you play the drums Tre... You look like you really enjoy it." Crash leaned up against the wall, letting her head tilt back against it.
Tre couldn't take it any longer, before he knew it, his lips were brushing up against hers softly, and he pulled back, blushing.
"Sorry, I... " Tre looked down at his shoes.
Tre sighed, and Crash smiled a bit.
"That's okay." She said, leaning forward and kissing him on the cheek.
"Hey! Shot? At the bar?" Billie Joe started to walk backwards out the door.
"No, wait, hmm... Do you want to?" Crash licked her lips
"We're gonna do shots... We wanted to see if you wanted to join us." Billie Joe said.
"Hmm, well, Tre, Shots?" Crash pulled her long sleeves over her fingers.
"Well, sure." Tre nodded his head.
"Hmm... Five." Crash knocked her head back, letting the smooth liquid slide down her throat.
Crash rested her head on Tre's wobbly shoulder, and he giggled slightly. Crash looked at her watch, cursing under her breath.
"I have to go... " She stood up, laying her hand in Tre's shoulder for balance.
"I'll... See you guys later." She started to walk off in the direction of the door, but Tre went after her.
"You need help. Let me walk you home." Tre put one of her arms around his shoulder so she could lean on him. Surprisingly, he hadn't had any drinks that night, so he was completely sober.
"Here we go, ready? We're going over the curb now." Crash leaned on Tre for extra support, but he didn't mind. Soon they reached her house, and he fumbled with her keys that he found in her pocket, finally getting the door open. The house was silent except for the constant ticking of the kitchen clock. Tre helped her up the stairs to her bedroom, and laid her down the bed.
"Tre... " Crash looked up at him through the darkness as he removed her shoes, followed by her socks.
"Yeah?"
"Stay... With me. Please?" Crash smiled at him, and he couldn't say no.
"He slid her pants off, folded them and placed them on the floor. He removed her jacket and hung it on a hook, and sat at the edge of her bed.
"You sure you want me to stay? What about your parents?" He tucked a thick lock of her hair behind her ear.
"Fuck 'em. I want you to stay." She took a hold of his hand, pulling him down closer to her.
"I like you Tre Cool." She whispered to him.
"I like you to Crash."
He laid down next to her, kicking off his shoes, and wrapped one arm around her waist. She rested her head into the crook of his neck, taking in his smell.
Tre opened his eyes to find Crash's piercing green eyes staring into his.
"Morning... " She yawned.
"Morning." He yawned rolling over onto his back.
"Did we... Do anything last night?" Crash propped herself up onto her elbow, cocking her head to the left.
"No." Tre shook his head.
Crash let out a sigh of relief and fell back onto her bed.
"Oh! No offence or anything... " Crash said, looking upwards into his blue eyes.
"None taken.
"Are you hungry? I'm hungry."
"Starved." He sat up, climbing out of bed and helped Crash up, but she lost her balance, falling onto Tre.
"Gah... I've got a motherfucking headache. Stupid... " She muttered, rubbing her temples.
Tre kissed her temple, and she smiled at him, then surprisingly pulled him into a kiss.
"Hmm.... That's... Cool." Tre took a deep breath and followed Crash downstairs, where her parents were sitting at the table, drinking coffee and reading the newspaper.
"Hello Parents." Crash said loudly, but neither responded.
Crash narrowed her eyes at them, then picked up a piece of toast that was left out on the table and threw it at her dad.
"I said, HELLO PARENTS." She told them, after catching their attention.
"Don't throw food... Who-Who is that?" Her mother put down her paper, staring at Tre.
"This is Tre Cool. He slept over." Just to annoy her parents, she slipped one arm sound his waist, pulling him close to her, wrapping a leg around his waist. She smiled angelically at them, and her mother picked up her newspaper again, shaking her head.
"Come on Tre. Let's go UPSTAIRS. By OURSELVES. ALONE." Crash took his hand, running up the stairs.
She opened her door, jumping backwards onto her bed.
"Sorry. I like doing that... To my parents. You know? I don't think they like me... That's a whole other story though." Crash fiddled with her bedspread, smiling down at it.
"Oh... I didn't mind. Really." He blushed a bit. "Anyway... I should probably go. I'll... Catch ya later." He waved at her, finding his way out, leaving crash laying on her bed, with no pants on.
