First Kiss, chapter 3
*Mandys POV*
I woke up with a bad headache from all the crying. I turn around to see Billie still asleep so I get out of the bed quietly. I look at all the photos of him Mike and Tre. There's one picture of them Billie Joe as a singer with a guitar, Mike with a guitar and Tre on the drums and it says Green Day in bold letters underneath. I never knew they were a band. I started to walk to the other side of the room but tripped over Billie'sshoe an landed on the floor, the bang woke up Billie he sat up an saw me on the floor. "Shit, Mandy are you OK?" he got out of bed and helped me up. "Yer, I'm fine" I laughed. His phone started ringing, he answered it. "Hey Mike", he sat down on the bed." Erm yer, sure. I'll ask Mandy... Yes she did stay here, No, Mike shut up!" He turned to look at me "Do you wanna come a bar with us tonight", I thought for a minute "Yer sounds fun". He laughed an turned back round "Yer Mike we'll come... Ok see you then bye". He put his phone on his bed "Are you 17 yet?" He asked me. "No my birthdays on Friday" I replied. "Wow thats only a week away!" I nodded. "Well if were going out I need to go home to get some clothes" I said. "Ok, do you want me to come?" he replied. I nodded "Yer sure".
*Billies POV*
*Later that day*
I'm sitting on the sofa waiting for Mandy. She comes down the stairs "You ready?" I asked her she nodded "Just need to put my shoes on". She came and sat next to me and started pulling her trainers on. I watched her for a minute then I did something that shocked me a little, "Mandy" I took a deep breath. "Yeah?" she replied. I leant in and kissed her, she looked shocked at first but then she kissed me back. We stayed there on the sofa for about 10 minutes untill she pulled away "We've gotta go, come on I need to get my stuff" she said grabbing my hand and pulling me out the house. I closed the front door and we started walking to her house, still holding hands. We talked all the way to her house. She took out her keys and walked into her house dragging me with her. "Hi, mum" she shouted. Her mum came down the stairs "Hiya, I thought you were staying out tonight?" Mandy was staying at mine again because she didn't want to stay on her own as her mum and dad were on the late shift. "I am, I've just come to get some clothes". She ran up the stairs leaving me with her mum. "Hi, you must be Billie Joe?" she said putting out her hand for me to shake "Yeah, hi" I replied an shook her hand. "So, how old are you?" she asked. "17" I replied politley. She nodded and smiled at me, Mandy came down the stairs in different clothes an holding a bag. Her mum looked at her "Are they your sisters clothes?" her voice was thick like she was going to cry. Mandy paused mid step on the stairs. She also looked like she was going to cry. "Yes" she finaly answered and finished walking down the stairs. Her mum looked down and walked away an Mandy walked out the door. Leaving me thinking, What the hell just happend? I followed Mandy an closed the door she was leaning on the wall. She started walking to my house when I got to her but I grabbed her hand. She turned round "What?" she asked. "What was going on there?" I replied she looked down I saw that she was crying and pulled her into a hug. "Why can't you tell me whats wrong?" I asked. She pulled away and looked a me "We moved here because my dad got a new job but also because a month before my sister... Erm..." I guess I knew what was coming, "She died of cancer". I stood there kind of stunned then hugged her. Everything was coming together now, that must have been why she kept crying. I wiped the tears off her face with my hand and told her it would be OK. She smiled at me then pulled me closer and kissed me. I pulled away after a minute "We're going to be late" I said she smiled an we walked back to mine. It was 7pm now Mike, Tre and Sarah were coming round at 8 so we had about 45 mins till we had to get ready. I sat on the sofa and she followed me I put the tele on an she sat next to me an put her head on my shouldor I smiled to myself as she did this. I know i've only known her for a few days but I think i'm in love with her, I want to tell her but i'm going to wait because it might scare her into ignoring me.

I was waiting downstairs while Mandy was fishing putting her makeup on she came downstairs just as the doorbell went. "Shall I get it?" she shouted to me. "Yer sure" I replied walking into the living room. I heard her open the door and a lads voice "Hey babe" they said, I was guessing it was Tre. "Hi Tre" she replied. I walked to the living room door but stayed round the corner so they couldn't see me. "So wheres Billie Joe?" I heard Tre ask I peeped round the corner to see him with his arm round her waist. It was then I decided to come out of the living room "Tre you better get your arm off her if you want to live till tommorow!" I said making him jump an take his arm off her. Mandy laughed and I smiled. The doorbell went Tre answered it, Mike and Sarah walked in "Hey guys" Mike said. "Hi" we replied. "So, are we going then?" Mandy asked. "Yer, lets go" I said taking Mandys hand. We were going in Sarahs car as she was the only one who could afford one. She was driving and Mike sat next to her in the front. Me, Mandy and Tre sat in the back. Mandy was in the middle so I was keeping my eye on Tre.
*Mandys POV*
We were on the way to the club, I was inbetween Tre and Billie. I was just sitting there when someone started stroking my thigh but it wasn't Billie it was Tre. When I looked at him he was looking out the window so I nudged Billie and gave him a 'get him off me' look, he looked at Tre's hand and rolled his eyes. He put his arm behind me and smacked Tre on the back of the head and shouted "Keep your hands off my girlfriend!" I think everyone was taken aback by that including Billie. He'd called me his girlfriend an I liked it. I turned an smiled at him, he looked relieved an smiled back. Tre was in a mood now an didn't say another word in the car. We pulled up outside a club an even though we were all underage we got in. There were blue flashing lights an the club was about half full. Me and Billie went to the bar an ordered everyones drinks while they got us a table. We were waiting for the drinks when I said to Billie (well shouted to Billie since the music was so loud), "Do you really think of me as your girlfriend?" Even through the blue lights I could tell he was blushing "Yer, Why do you not want me to?" he replied. "Yer I like it" I said an smiled, he laughed then kissed me. We carried on kissing till the barman brought over the drinks. Billie picked up the tray an we walked over to the table they'd got us. I sat down next to Sarah and Billie sat next to me. We sat and talked for a while and watched Tre dance with a random girl. Then me and Billie got up to dance followed by Mike and Sarah. While me and Billie Joe were dancing I noticed a girl who was dancing with a group of her mates next to us kept staring at Billie. He noticed too but just ignored her and carried on dancing with me. A few dances later we decided to go sit down. We got back to the table which was empty since Tre, Mike and Sarah were still dancing. A few minutes later I needed to go the loos an re-apply my make up "I'll be right back Billie just going the toilet" I said, Billie nodded. I had to walk through the dance floor to get to the loos and I noticed the girl was staring at me when I walked past. I finaly got to the toilets and went to the mirror to put more make up on. About five minutes later I made my way back through the dancefloor. The girl was not with her friends anymore and I was about to find out why. I was deep in thought an just watched the foor as I walked over to the table. When I was near the table I looked up what I saw shocked me, I was rooted to the spot and couldn't move. Billie wasn't alone anymore he was joined by the girl from the dancefloor, she was sitting on his knee an they were kissing. I felt tears burn in my eyes. Billie looked up and saw me, his eyes widened he pushed the girl away from him and got up. I started running out the club Mike saw me and tried to ask me what was wrong but I carried on running. I ran out of the doors I knew Billie was following me so I hid behind the wall. He came out the club stopped outside the entrance "Mandy!" he shouted, I didn't say anything, he sat on the step and put his head in his hands. I saw Mike come out. I was quiet even though I was crying so much. "She's gone" I heard Billie say, "What, Who Mandy?" was Mike'sreply. I peeped round the corner to see Billie nod his head, he looked close to tears. "Come on Billie, I'll buy you a drink an we'll talk about it, Ok?" Again I saw Billie nod an they walked back into the club. I took this chance to run from behind the wall I carried on running till I was away from the club I then phoned a taxi.

About 10 mins later a taxi pulled up. I got in an told the taxi driver my address. I was in the taxi for around 10 mins till it pulled up outside my house. I paid him an walked into my house. Luckily I had my key even though I was meant to stay at Billie'stonight. When I remebered Billie sharp pains shot through my stomach I sat in the livingroom and cried. It was now 1am i'd been home for 2 an a half hours now. All i'd done was cry. I was sitting in the dark quiet room whent the doorbell rang. Shit! I thought to myself, either it was a mad murderer or Billie an I didn't want to see any of them. I took a deep breath an opened the door, it was Billie. I went to shut the door again but he put his foot there. "Mandy, Please just speak to me". I stayed silent but I did look at him I could feel tears pouring down my cheeks. "Please Mandy" he whispered. I grabbed my keys and slowly walked out the door. I closed and locked it, I leant on the wall and closed my eyes trying to forget everything that had happend tonight. "Mandy, I didn't mean to kiss her" He said quietly. That got me angry "You didn't mean to kiss her? So she just fell onto your lips did she!" I shouted, he looked at the floor. I started walking away. I was just crossing the deserted road when I heard Billie "Mandy wait" I stopped, completely forgetting I was standing in the middle of the road I turned to look at him "Mandy, I didnt like her I..." BANG! Pain surged through my whole body as I was thrown across the road, my head smashed on the pavement. I heard Billie shout "MANDY!" I opened my very heavy eyelids slightly to see him running over, he was crying. He crouched down next to me, pulled out his phone and called for an ambulance. Then he stroked my cheek "Everything's going to be OK" he said he was crying pretty badly now. My eyes came to heavy to stay open when the horrible realisation that i'd been hit by a car flooded through my mind. I heard sirens then it got too much and I blacked out completely.
