"Now class take out you text books and begin reading...." *sighs and stares at Joey* "Miss Jones, please read the first chapter" said Mrs. Maranic. "Huh? What?" "I said, please read the first chapter" "I don't have my book out yet. What page is it again?" "Oh... Never mind" "Mr. Armstrong, please read the first chapter" "Sure Mrs. Maranic. A long time ago..." Oh! I could stare at Joey Armstrong forever! He's so nice and smart and cute! : Ring ring: yes recess! "Okay class is dismissed" "YAY!" yelled the whole class. "Hey, Maddie, wait up!" Oh wow! Joey talked to me! "Maddie, you were staring into space during class. Are you okay?" said Joey. "Uh... yeah, I'm okay" "Alright great. See Ya!" "Bye!" This is great! He talked to me!

"Bonjour, mes amis" said our French teacher Madame Raposo. "Bonjour Madame Raposo" everyone said. "Okay, today for French we'll all be paired up for a project, and I'm choosing the partners." everyone moaned. "Okay so, Ayden and Wesley, Lorena and Liam, Maddie and Joey..." "YES!" I yelled at the top of my lungs! Everyone stared at me including Joey, except he smiled at me! With a beet red face, I sunk low in my seat. Everyone went back to looking at Madame Raposo, while Joey just sat there smiling at me! I should have smiled back but I was way too embarrassed to do anything. He turned around and Madame finished the rest of the class. Okay, now it's lunchtime so I can sit in the cafeteria where no one, well hopefully no one will see me. I grabbed a tray of food and headed to the back table, where no one will find me. "Maddie!" yelled Joey from across the cafeteria. "Oh God!" I said nervously. "I'm also happy being your partner. Though your face was very red. Drink something. I don't want anything bad to happen to you! Wait a second" "Um... all right" I said. I saw him coming back a minute later with a cup of water. "Here. Drink the water." I drank some of it and said thanks. He smiled and me then sat next to me. "So..." He started. "About the project, got any ideas?" "Nope" I answered "Okay." He started writing on a napkin. "Here's my phone number call me tonight and we can discuss the project" "Okay! Sure" I said with major excitement!
