Welcome To Paradise, chapter 6
Danelle knocked on the men's dressing room. She heard the rapid whispers stop, then heard footsteps near the door.
"Who is it?" Billie asked playfully.
"Billie, open the door." replied Danelle.
"Is it the pizza man?" he continued.
"Billie, open the fuckin door!"
"Okay, okay... geez." He replied while pulling open the door.
Danelle stepped in. "Uh, guys can I talk to Tre real quick?"
All the guys nodded.
"Alone." she finished.
Jason and Billie sighed, while exiting the room followed by Mike.
"Be gentle." Mike teased, winking at Danelle.
When Billie, Mike, and Jason exited, Danelle sat down on the couch next to Tre. There was silence between the two.
"Tre... I... I.." began Danelle.
"No, it's okay. I know what you're gonna say. I'm sorry for ruining your wedding."
"No Tre, wait. I really hope we can still be friends. I'm sorry."
"You have nothing to apologize about."
Danelle leaned forward and embraced Tre in a hug.
"I really hope you and Jakob live happily together." whispered Tre.
"Thanks Tre. That really means a lot to me."
"But... if he ever hurts you." began Tre.
"Tre, he's a good man. And don't worry... I'll kick his ass." smiled Danelle.
Tre gave her one last squeeze before releasing her from his arms.
"You guys can come in now!" yelled Tre.
Billie and Jason opened the door and walked in as if nothing happened.
"Hey guys, what's up?" asked Billie.
Danelle smiled. "You guys are pretty pathetic."
Jason and Billie smiled a toothy grin.

They heard a knock on the door and they looked up to notice Jakob poking his head through the door. Danelle smiled and got up to greet him. Then, Jakob came into the room.
"Uh... I just wanted to apologize for what happened earlier. I over reacted." said Jakob.
"No man, I'm sorry. I was out of line. But, she's all yours now." said Tre with a hint of sadness.
The room was quiet.
"Okay, well I better get going. Danelle, call me when the new date gets set. C'mon Billie, let's go."
Billie and Rai said their farewells and left the room.
"Yea guys, I think I'm gonna head out too. Ya need a ride Mike?" asked Tre.
"Um... no. I'm okay. I got my own ride." said Mike, winking at JoAnna.
JoAnna blushed and got up, joining Mike and Tre as they exited the room as well.
"Uh... I think that's my cue. I'll see you guys later." said Jason as he got up from the couch and followed the others.
Jakob and Danelle were finally left in peace as they sat on the couch, left in their thoughts.
"Well.... today was pretty eventful." said Jakob.
"Yea, it was." smiled Danelle.
She leaned against his chest, as his fingers traced up and down her arms.
"So..." Jake continued. "When do you wanna get married... again?"
Danelle chuckled. "Anytime you want."
Jakob nodded. "How does next week sound?"
"Awesome." Danelle smiled.
Jakob kissed the top of her head as they continued to lay there, enjoying eachother's company.

The following morning, Rai and Billie could be found laying in bed.
"Ooh. Did you feel that one?" asked Billie as he had his hand resting on Rai's stomach.
"Of course I felt it, Billie. The kid's inside of me." giggled Rai.
Billie smiled and moved a strand of Rai's hair behind her ear.
"You're beautiful." he said.
Rai felt a slight blush rise to her cheeks.
"You too." she smiled.
Billie grinned and pulled her against his chest.
"I love you." she whispered.
Billie smiled and kissed her temple.
"I love you too." he replied.
"Daddy! You're up!" yelled Jakob as he ran into the room.
"Hey there, buddy." smiled Billie.
Jakob crawled into the bed next to Billie.
"Can we go somewhere today?" Jakob asked.
"Sure. Where do you wanna go?"
"Umm... Six Flags!"
"Oh Jake... Let's go somewhere else. Rai can't go on any rides, remember?"
"No, no. You three should go. It'll be some good father-son time."
"No Rai, I'm not gonna leave you here alone. It's too late in your pregnancy for you to be left alone." argued Billie.
"Billie Joe, it's fine. I'll just hang out with Danelle and JoAnna. Seriously, go. You need to spend time with your kids."
"Rai-"
"No, it's settled. You're going. C'mon Jake, let's get you dressed and some breakfast, okay?"
"Okay!" smiled Jakob as he ran out of the room to wake up Joey.
"Rai, I really don't want to leave you."
"Billie, please. Stop this already, I'll be fine. I promise."
Billie kissed her lips softly. "Thanks. You're gonna be a great mom, you know that?"
Rai smiled and got up from his chest.
"Waffles or pancakes?" she asked.

JoAnna was in her room on her laptop when she heard her cell phone go off.
"Hello?"
"Hey JoAnna, it's Mike. Listen, we need to talk."
"Yea, I was thinking the same thing."
"Yesterday... yesterday was..."
"A mistake?" JoAnna asked.
"No. It was incredible."
JoAnna smiled.
"Listen, JoAnna. I like you. I like you a lot. It's just... everything's so hectic and not to mention our age difference, but I know age is only a number, and.... fuck, I'm rambling." sighed Mike.
"No Mike, I get it. It was a one time thing and you don't want to make anything out of it. It's okay, I get it."
"But it's not that I don't like you. It's just... I don't know. I'm sorry,"
"No, don't apologize. I understand our age is a big gap and you might feel uncomfortable with that. It's okay."
Mike sighed. "JoAnna, you fuckin rock. I'm so relieved that you took it so well."
JoAnna laughed. "Hey, I faced a shitload of rejection in my time."
Mike frowned, "I'm really sorry. I think you're a great girl, and guys must be crazy not to like you, and-"
"Mike, don't give me the sympathy card. It's okay. I get it. But right now, I'm hungry and I need to go to Rai's house. So I'll talk to you later?"
"Yea. Tell Rai I said hi."
"Sure thing. Bye Mike."
"Bye, Jo."
JoAnna hung up the phone and closed her laptop. She tried her hardest, but couldn't help the tear that rolled down her cheek.

The door rang and Rai had just finished cleaning the kitchen. She answered the door and revealed JoAnna's tear stained face.
"Oh JoAnna, what happened, sweetie?" asked Rai as she pulled her in for a hug.
"I shouldn't even be crying." said JoAnna.
"Jo, what happened?"
"Mike doesn't want a relationship. He said it was just a one time thing, but I saw it coming, and I even told him that I understood... but I just can't help but feel like shit."
"Oh JoAnna, I'm so sorry. But don't worry, he'll come around."
JoAnna smiled and began to sing, "No time to search the world around. 'Cause you know where I'll be found, when I come around!"
"I take it I have Danelle to thank for your little song outburst?"
"Exactly."
Rai laughed. "Okay, well the boys went out, so it's just you and me and a shitload of ice cream Billie buys for me and my pregnancy cravings. Let's go wallow."
JoAnna smiled, "Sounds great."
"Who is it?" Billie asked playfully.
"Billie, open the door." replied Danelle.

"Oh Jake... Let's go somewhere else. Rai can't go on any rides, remember?"
"No, no. You three should go. It'll be some good father-son time."
"No Rai, I'm not gonna leave you here alone. It's too late in your pregnancy for you to be left alone." argued Billie.
"Billie Joe, it's fine. I'll just hang out with Danelle and JoAnna. Seriously, go. You need to spend time with your kids."
"Rai-"
