RECAP

"You've already lost me Billie. You just don't know it..." she said.

I raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean by that?"

"You'll learn in time. Believe me, right now isn't the right moment."

"Okay... whatever you say Whatsername," I replied.

----

"We have to split up to look for Billie okay?" said Adie.

"Good idea," said Mike and Tre at the same time.

The three of them searched around the entire grave yard for a few minutes.

"HEY I FOUND IT!" yelled Tre pointing to a grave stone.

Adie and Mike came running over and stood behind Tre.

"This is it!" exclaimed Mike.

"Yea it is, but where's Billie?" asked Adie.

They all looked around but Billie was no where to be seen.

"Maybe he was already here..." said Tre.

"Yea maybe. But while we're here, I say we pay our respects," said Mike bending down to the grave.

"Yea we should," replied Adie kneeling down as Tre did the same.

The three of them stayed quiet for a moment of silence paying their respects to Andy.

"You were a good man Mr. Armstrong. Thanks for giving Billie his guitar, he'd be nothing without it," whispered Mike.

"Even though I never got to meet you," started Tre. "I'm pretty sure you were a great guy since B.j. misses you so much."

That's probably the most mature thing he's said all day thought Mike and Adie.

"I know you're watching over him Andy," said Adie adding onto what both Tre and Mike had said. "Keep watching over him because he needs you. I hope you know that every time Billie plays 'Wake Me Up When September Ends' he looks up to the sky. Please keep him safe even when we can't be with him." She took out a rose and placed it against the stone.

"Amen!" exclaimed Tre.

"So what now?" asked Mike standing up.

"Now there's the problem.. I don't know either!" sighed Adie.

"Ha, finally ran out of idea's eh Mrs. Idea lady?" joked Tre.

----

Driving. One thing that I have done way too much for in one day. What's up with her? She's so mysterious that it's creeping me out...

"Am I creeping you out?" asked Whatsername.

"Uh.. No. No. I'm fine..." I said in an uneasy voice.

How did she know that's what I'm thinking? Oh shit, what if she can hear me? Not good. Okay Billie, just stop thinking and don't think dirty thoughts. She's just a kid. Don't think of having sex with Adrienne..... Too late.

"You really are a predictable person you know. I hope you know that."

"Hey, you said 'you know' twice in one sentence. Not bad. You can never beat my record though," I joked trying to side track how awkward things were getting.

She smiled, but kept watching as things passed by.

"Billie, where are we going?"

[/i]I'm sorry Whatsername, it's the only way to make sure you're safe.[/i]

I pulled up in front of a police station. Her eyes widened as she looked at me with worried eyes.

"BILLIE, NO!" she cried as a tear rolled down her cheek. "Please don't make me go in there! You've got to trust me on this! Please! I can't go in there! I can't tell them! I-I-I can't!"

I looked into her eyes that started to turn a dark shade of gray. I shifted over to her and grabbed both her hands in mine. She looked up at me with some of her hair covering her face.

"Okay... If you really don't want to, you don't have to, but please answer one question.."

"Shoot."

"Why can't we tell the police? Please, I want to know. Can you please tell me?"

"Just because Billie," she said getting words out of her mouth. "I know you don't know me that well, but I know you. Please believe me... I'm begging you. We cannot tell the police."

Her eyes sparkled with tears of pain that I couldn't say no to.

"Okay.." I whispered letting go of her hands. "I won't tell them. But what do you mean by you knowing me?"

"You like to ask a lot of questions when you don't know what's going on don't you? A fear of the unknown is what is inside your mind isn't it?" she replied.

"For someone who is so young, I think you're wiser and more mysterious than me."

"I'll take that as a complement," she replied.

I pulled out of the parking space and back onto the road. I knew the streets, but I didn't know where I was going. After about 10 minutes of driving I looked into the rear view mirror to see a car that looked like Adie's come speeding behind us.

"OH SHIT! I THINK IT'S ADRIENNE!" I exclaimed.

I drove faster trying to lose the car.

"Why would you try to lose her?" asked Whatsername.

"She's my wife, and I love her. But I need to be alone. Mike and Tre are there for me and are probably in that car. They're worried, but they should know that I'm okay," I said quickly as I kept my eyes on the road.

I sped up the car faster and faster, I could care less if I got caught for speeding as my car made screeches around every corner.

----

"Let's just walk around in stuff. Hopefully he'll turn up somewhere," suggested Mike.

"What good will that do?" asked Tre.

"You know Billie, he always ends up somewhere right?"

"That's true I guess."

They all made their way out of the grave yard carefully stepping over and around graves.

"If I was Billie, where would I be?.." asked Adrienne aloud.

"A strip club," said Tre.

"For the love of god, can't you give that theory a rest?" snapped Mike.

"Okay.. sorry. I'm trying to brighten up the moment. It's my job," he replied.

"Why don't we take a bit of a rest?" asked Adie stopping for a minute. "Maybe get something to eat or some coffee."

"I could go for a cup of coffee right now. We'll look for him again after," added Mike.

They pressed the button that signaled them to begin to cross the street where a small diner was. While they were walking in the middle of a street a long screech was heard.

"What the hell was that?" said Adie.

"I don't know.." replied Tre looking around.

The three of them had stopped in the middle of the road when all of a sudden a car came speeding towards them. Frozen with almost no time to move, their eyes widened as they could feel their whole lives flash before them.
