"I'm going to tell my mommy what you did!", chapter 3

"Uhh... I dunno, but look, I have to talk to you." Billie said. I looked at him for a minute then climbed out of my window.
"What?" I asked after we had gone around to my back porch and were sitting on the singing porch.
"You remember that day in 2nd grade, the day Tre spat in Dixie's hair?" I nodded. Billie smiled. "Well, I do still like you, if you're wondering..." He added quietly. I smiled too.
"Billie, you came all the way from your house to-" Billie cut me off when he leaned forward and gave me apieck on the lips. He looked away quickly after and I could see him turning red.
"Uhm, I gotta go. See ya." He shoved his hands in his pockets and walked off, looking back once over his shoulder and he smiled, then ran over to his own house.

*Present Time- 11th Grade*

"Uh, Mike..." billie grabbed Mike by the arm and dragged him to the side of the hallway. It was the third omnth into 11th grade, and where was I? In class, while my boyfriend was skipping class with my brother, Mike, and best friend, Tre. "I saw Mandi..."
Mike whipped his head around. "When? What did she say?" It was now obvious that Mike and Mandi liked each other, but neither had the guts to tell the other.
"She didn't say anything. I don't even think she knew I was there." Billie looked down at his feet.
"What do you mean?" Mike asked sucpiciously.
"I saw her with... Jason..."
"What?" Mike asked histerically. Mandi and he weren't "officially" dating, but they always acted like they were and if you didn't know them personally, you thought they were. "Jason White?" Billie nodded. "Our guitarist." Billie nodded again. "But...I though he was my friend..." Mike turned and shuffled down the hallway, with Billie walking beside him. Tre ran in from the gym.
"Hello..." When Tre saw Mikes face he turned to Billie. "Not a good time, is it?" Billie shook his head. "Did you tell him about-"
"Not talk about me like I'm not here..." Mike snapped. Tre flinched.
"Well then, you know about Mandi and..." At the moment, Mandi and I walked up.
"Hey! We just got out of Chemistry." I said happily. I looked from Mike to Billie to Tre. "Is something wrong?" Billie pointed to Mike. I walked beside Billie, as he filled me in quietly. Mike glared at Mandi and she looked puzzled back at him.
"Did I do something?" She asked innncoently.
"Did you do something!" Mike practically yelled. "Billie tells me he sees you in the hallway kissing on our guitarist, Jason White! I call that something..." Mandi looked away. I just shook my head an dlooked at Mike. My brother looked back at me with hurt eyes. He walked toward the front of the group. We walked along the hallway in awkward silence.
"Who wants chocolate ice-cream?" Tre asked randomly. Billie looked at him like he was a moron; which people might have called him. Mike shook his head as the 'end of school' bell rang.
"I'm just going staright home.." He said and walked out of the school. Mandi dashed after him. I watched her try to talk to Mike, but he just turned away. I'm sure she didn't mean to hurt Mike, but sometimes she doenst think.... Finally Mike turned toward Mandi and they sat down ona bench and began to talk. So much for going 'straight home'.... I sighed and ran back over to Billie, who was exiting out the back door.
"You wanna go to the movies or sometihing? seeing as you are my girlfriend.. "He smiled and walked over to his black car. "Come on, I'm sure Mike and Mandi will be fine." I smiled and nodded then got in the car. Billie leaned over and kissed me again. "You still remember that day from 2nd grade?" I nodded. Billie started the car and pulled out of the parking lot. "what about that night in 5th grade?" I smiled and remembered.
"But, I still don't know who wrote that note.."
Billie smiled. "The mystery of the Secret Admirer note.." We laughed and Billie pulled out toward the movie theatre.
