(In Alexia's point of view)
We arrived at the next show in New Jersey July 3 at 4pm. Both bands arrived early so we hanged for a bit. There was a game room so we all went there. I brought my guitar and my notebook since I felt like writing.
Billie, Mike, Tre and Danny were playing some pool. Jennie and Mark were talking a bit. Jason was asleep on one of the couches. Jay was listening to his Ipod. I sat down at another couch.
I started playing my favorite song that I made called, Could.
She was looking for his face
She could see his disgrace
What did she think of him on the day?
He went away, looking behind
She's trying to find why she loved him in the first place
Could you see her tears?
They don't disappear
Could you see her dieing?
Why didn't he say goodbye?
She waited there in the cold
But she was never told
That he left that day
Now she won't even say why her soul died that day
Could you see her tears?
They don't disappear
Could you see her dieing?
Why didn't he say goodbye?
Her heart beats in time
She will now be mine
She's waiting in line
So she can die
"Wow that's strong. What is it about?" Tre asked. Jennie had taken his place in the game.
"It's about me and my father and my ex-girlfriend. He cheated on my mom with my girlfriend. The girl who is dieing used to be me."
"What do you mean used to?"
"Well, I used to blame myself for him cheating on my mom. I wanted for my dad to come back so I could say that I was sorry. When I finely realized that it was his fault, I had already destroyed a part of me."
"Wow, that's really deep."
"Okay... well, anyways I answered you now could you answer my question. Are you having a mid-life crisis?"
"Wait a minute. That question was for my question; what did Danny mean about you were hungry for a year."
"Okay never mind."
Billie, Mike, and Jay came up to us.
"Hey, Tre, I'm gonna go and call Andrea. Okay?" Mike said.
"Yeah."
"Billie and Jay are gonna call their wives too. I guess Jason is too sleepy."
"Yeah, he's always sleeping." They got out of the room and left Tre with us.
"Must suck to be the only one without a wife or girlfriend huh?"
"Yeah, but then I don't have to call them every minute."
"But still, don't you get lonely, coming home and no one is their."
"Nah, my ex-wife and son Frankito are at my house. We want him to have a normal life and to be raised properly"
"And you say you're not old."
"I'm not."
"You have a son and ex-wife. Wait I think Jennie told me once that you have two ex-wives and two kids."
"Yeah, she's right. Okay I'm old."
"Jennie, you own me five dollars."
"Yeah okay." Jennie said.
"What, did you bet that I would say that I'm old?"
"Yeah, I knew you were gonna admit it sooner or later, so I knew I should get some money for it."
"Wow, you are mean."
"Oh, come on like you haven't made a bet." All of the sudden Jennie, Danny, and Mark came up to us.
"Hey, Jennie we're gonna get something to eat." Jennie said.
"Oh, okay." Danny and Jennie got out of the room.
"Are you coming?" Mark said, in a harsh voice.
"No bring me something though."
"Yeah, sure." He stared at Tre and then left.
"Wow kind of mean." Tre said.
"Don't worry he's just jealous."
"Of me? Why? It's been 5 days!"
"Cause you kissed me before he kissed me."
"Wow, I feel special, everybody kisses you."
"You should. You're a very special boy Tre."
"I'm special!"
"Now go to special ed."
"Hey!"
"I'm joking!" I tried playing All by Myself but I messed up on a few chords.
"No you do it like this." He put his leg over my head and on the other side of me and slipped in between me and the couch's back. I could feel his breath on my neck.
He put his hand over mine and pressed them on the strings. He got my other hand and started picking the strings. He let go and I kept playing and when I was finished, I turned and smiled at Tre. His blue eyes were as blue as the clear sky. I tried to resist but I couldn't. I kissed him.
(In Tre's point of view)
Once she finished playing All by Myself, she turned, faced me, and smiled. She kept staring at me and then she kissed me. She kissed me for what seemed a hell of a long time. Her guitar dropped to the floor and I laid her on the couch but kept kissing her. I took off my jacket, but then she stopped me.
"Fuck, no, I'm not doing this. Sorry Tre" She said. I sat upright on the couch and she got up.
"Sorry, sorry, I was using you."
"No you weren't and that's what's wrong. I wanted you to do that."
"Wow, and you call me naughty."
"Shut up, Tre." She smiled a sad smile. "I don't know what your feeling right nor I know what I'm feeling so I'm gonna go." She was about to leave when then I stopped her.
"Wait, Alexia. What's wrong?"
"I don't know what's wrong that's what's wrong."
"I don't understand."
"Tre, there are some emotions that you should go for and there are some emotions you should hide in your heart forever. You decide what you're gonna do with yours, I've already decided what to do with mine." She left and I just stood there. Jason then all of the sudden stood up.
"What the hell Jason?"
"Man, you should really quiet down Tre. You woke me up 5 minutes ago."
"So you heard all of this huh?"
"Yep, and I think you'll be arrested if the police found out about what you did."
"Let them. I don't care."
"Well, if you really want her."
"Who says I do?"
"Come on, Tre don't try to fool us, we know you like her. Well, if you really want her, than you better wait about a year or two."
"Yeah, but still. The girl who gets me the most, the one that's funny, sweet, and everything I wanted and need, is so close but so illegal."
"Yeah, well god didn't make life simple."
"Yeah, at least not for me."
