"The Hopeless and Green Day", chapter 8

(In Alexia's point of view)
Almost a week had passed and it was still August. We had a show in New Jersey. Mike's wife, Andrea was coming, for her son's birthday, and for a guest performance. I had heard the sing she sang backup vocals for Happy Life, Happy Man. She was quite the singer. Tre and I were still hanging out but every time we did, it felt like I was all over him and that I was fooling around with him for fun. I didn't want to that to Tre. But part of me was saying that I wasn't fooling around with him, that I was falling for him. I would slap myself when I would think that and I think I slapped myself about 30 times before the bands thought I was crazy. As we were hanging out in dressing room, Andrea and Mike came in.
"Hey, Andrea no time no see," Tre said. He came up too her and hugged her. I could see a twinkle in his eye.
"Nice to see you too Tre." She kissed him on the cheek. I saw that Mike had a little boy in his arms.
"And this is my little Frankie." He got the baby and the baby started to cry.
"Tre, I would think with your two children that you would know how to take care of a baby," I said. I got the baby out of Tre's hand and he quietened down.
"So, you must be Alexia. I'm Andrea nice to meet you."
"Nice to meet you too Andrea. How did you know it was me?"
"Mike told me about your attitude with Tre. Always telling him a nice insult."
"Well, you have to keep a hand on the babies." We both laughed and Andrea got Frankie. Andrea said hi to Billie, Jay and Jason, and met Jennie, Mark, and Danny.
"So, how is everything going in the tour, Alexia?" We were at the make-up room. Mike and the rest of guys were in the dressing room.
"Well, fine I guess."
"What about you and Tre?"
"So you know about that too."
"Yeah, Mike has told me what he knows. So how do you feel about Tre?"
"He's too old."
"I didn't ask you how old he is, I'm asking how do you feel about him." I thought for a second and then I knew.
"I feel...I feel like he makes something new out of me. More happy and special, but still mature."
"Wow...I love that songwriters could always what they feel. Wish I could be like that. So you and Tre, are you to gonna go out?"
"You know that I'm 17 right? It's illegal."
"Yeah, I guess you're right, but you know what that girl from Freaky Friday and that guy from That 70's show did right? They kept it secret until she was legal."
"Yeah, but the media already knew and they broke up." Then I thought for a second. "Hey, who says we want to go out, I don't like him."
"You just said he makes you happy, you like him."
"No, I do not, okay end of story."
"If you say so." Mike came in with Frank and she gave him to Andrea.
"I've got to go, see you later."
"Bye, Alexia." I left.
(In Andrea's point of view)
"She likes him, I just know it."
"Yeah, he likes her too."
"Well, too bad she's afraid to like him. She says that he makes more happy, but she tries not to say it."
"The same with Tre. Too bad she's not a little older."
"Oh, come on. You're about more than 10 years older than me."
"Yeah, but she's 20 years younger than him, much bigger difference."
"I guess you're right." I kissed Mike, and then Frank wanted Mike, so I gave Frank to him.
"Isn't it right? Tre loves someone, Frank?" Frank nodded his head.
"Dada," Frank said.
"Oh my god, his first word!" I said.
"Yes, and it was dada instead of mama." I looked at Mike. "Um, never mind."
"Come on lets go tell Billie and Tre." We went to the dressing room and told them.
"Ah, that's so good. Next he should learn how to say fuck," Tre said.
"Tre, don't say that. I don't want him to learn that," I said. Alexia was in the corner looking at Tre. She turned her head, with a jealous look.
"Oh, come on. I was joking. He should learn mama next," Tre said.
"Oh, it's time to go. Come on you guys," Mark said. They left and as Alexia was leaving, she looked at Tre with longing eyes.
(In Alexia's point of view)
"Thank you now my favorite band Green Day!" I said. We left the stage and the band went out. Andrea was with us and was watching them play.
"Huh, now I want to stay for life," she said. Frank was in the dressing room with a sitter. "I miss the road."
"Well, this tour is one of the best I've gone on so, I guess you would like to be in it." I said.
"Hey, why did you look at Tre weirdly when I was in the dressing room? It was like a lion protecting her young, you looked scary."
"What face?"
"You know you had a face don't lie, I know how it was like." I hesitated for a bit.
"Well, he looks so happy around you. He seems different with you." She just looked at me and said nothing.
"You know why we named our son, Frank?"
"Why?"
"Because when I barely met the band, Frank gave me a ticket to their concert and told me that Mike liked me. What I didn't know was that Frank invited me because he liked me. But as you know, I fell for the bass player not the drummer. I guess Tre still has feelings for me, but he knows that he can't. That's why he's so happy when he's around me and so sad when me and Mike kiss." She was looking at the concert, but she was staring at me from the corner of her eye. "That's why Mike and I want you two to get together. Illegal or not. Tre finally fell for someone else." I stood there watching her, like she was the goddess of knowing how people feel.
"What am I supposed to do? I'm too young for him! My mother will kill me and the media will torture me again!"
"Do what you know your heart wants, it'll lead you to happiness." Billie called for Andrea and she went on stage.
"Mike's wife everyone! Too bad ladies!" The crowd said ah. Mike started playing acoustic guitar and Billie was using the saxophone and Tre was drumming a bit.
Love was too much to bare
Love used to be unfair
