Stuck with me!, chapter 5

I walked to school the next day and saw Mike waiting outside the door for me. This time he was the one with the big goofy smile.

"What's up with you then?" I questioned

"You and Katie eh!?" he said nudging me, my smile was widening now.

"Yeah it's great isn't it" I said getting into a daze again.

The bus pulled up and I saw Katie step down from it. Our eyes met each other and the smile grew on her face. She went a shade of pink and walked up to Mike and me. I kissed her on the cheek. She smelt so great. I kissed her neck.

"Awwww" Mike shouted.

I moved in to hug her and behind her back I stuck ones up at Mike. He laughed. I took her hand and we interlocked fingers. They were so soft. I stroked her hand with my thumb.

We walked down the corridor getting weird looks from everyone. The jocks went green with envy and the cheerleaders did too. I could feel a catfight coming on I thought to myself. Katie's grip tightened. I looked at her biting her lip nervously. I kissed her tender lips and her grip loosened. We got into class and we walked to our seats hand in hand. I kissed her as she sat down.

"Awww isn't that sweet Mr Armstrong! But will you please save that for after class!" Mr Asshole said coldly.

I sat down, my fists clenching. Katie blushed and started twiddling her hair.

The school day had ended and we had band practice at mine.

"Wanna come to mine?" I asked Katie

"I'd love to" she whispered stroking my arm.

We walked to my house and set up equipment. Katie sat on a sofa facing the stage. We played a lot of our songs and a few covers. She clapped along and danced. My heart was beating like a drum from the excitement I got when I looked at her. She gives me inspiration.

Practice had finished and John went home. I was walking over to Katie with a smile on my face until Mike stopped me.

"Billie Joe can I speak to you in private." He said looking at the ground.

"Erm sure, Katie stay here I'll be right back." I said looking unsurely at Mike.

We walked out of the room and Mike went and sat on the floor with his back against the wall. I joined him.

"So what's up Mike?"

"Well it's my mum and dad they had this massive argument and well there splitting up and I have to live with my dad and were moving away from here."

"What!!" I shouted, "Mike you can't leave you're my best friend in the whole world!" I said my eyes glistening and my lip shaking.

"Billie Joe I have no choice I'm so sorry." He said his eyes glazing over.

I tear ran down my cheek. I've known Mike for 5 years. Ever since we met in the cafeteria I knew we'd be friends forever.

I stood up and put my head against the wall. Tears were pouring out of my eyes. I heard him stand up to. He wrapped his arms around me and we cried for a few minutes still hugging.

"What am I going to do without you man!" I said tears streaming down my face.

"What am I going to do without you!" he replied.

"When do you leave?"

"Tonight I'm so sorry." He said sniffling.

More tears fell from my eyes. We walked back to where Katie was. She stood up and ran over to me hugging me tight.

"Billie Joe, Mike what's wrong!" she said hugging us both. She wiped my eyes and pressed her fingers on my cheeks.

"Mikes moving away" I said crying more. She gasped and tears fell from her eyes too.

"When?" she asked

"Tonight" Mike said

We all walked to Mike's house and I helped him pack. We packed all of his things to do with sweet children. I picked up his bass and started plucking at it. I sounded nothing like Mike on a bass. He laughed at my attempt.

"How am I going to replace you!" I laughed.

" I don't know Billie Joe."

I was losing my best friend. No one can compare to him.

"Mike its time to go!" his foster dad called.

I walked downstairs with him and Katie. We got to his car and put his stuff in the boot. I handed him his bass and I started to cry.

"Mike I'll never forget you! You're my best friend ever and no one can replace you. Never forget me!" I cried at him

"Billie Joe I love you, of course I will never forget you" he cried too.

I reached my arms out and he hugged me back. I kissed his cheek and he kissed mine. He was like a brother to me. He put his bass on the back seat of the car.

"Goodbye Billie Joe. I'll never forget you." He said.

"Goodbye Mike. I'll never forget you" I replied.

He opened the door to his car and sat in it. He stuck his head out of the window and the car set off. He waved bye and I waved too. He waved till out of sight.

Then I fell to the floor. I broke down in tears. Mike meant everything to me. And now he was gone. Katie sat beside me and nuzzled into my chest crying making my top go all wet. I rested my head on hers howling spattering tears all over her. I lifted her head up and kissed her tenderly.

We walked back to mine while I told her stories about Mike and me. We laughed and cried.

We walked inside my room and I tried to tidy up a bit but what was the use. I made my bed and laid on it. I patted at the side of me for Katie to lie by me. She sat timidly on the edge of the bed. I pulled her by my side so she lay down. I grabbed her face and pulled it toward mine. I slipped my tongue in her mouth and we made out vigorously. I felt all over her body and rested my hands on her ass. I felt myself getting horny and we made out for quarter of an hour. We broke off and she sat up.

"Billie I got to go" she said kissing my lips delicately.

"I'll walk you home" I offered.

"No Billie Joe get some sleep you've had a bad day today."

"Okay but ring me when you get back!"

"I will"

I walked her to my front door and kissed her goodnight. I watched her turn the corner and I closed the door.

*Katie's P.O.V*

Oh my god! I thought to myself. Billie is so amazing. I really like him! It was dark now and I have to walk home by myself. But Billie needed sleep. I can't believe Mike has gone! I heard somebody wolf whistling. God I wish Billie Joe was here. Its cold and I'm scared. I heard footsteps behind me and I started to walk faster.

"Hey there" I heard somebody say. I turned around. "Don't be scared. There's nothing to be scared of unless you do what I say"

*Billie Joe's P.O.V*

How long is it taking her to get home! Maybe she forgot to ring me. I better check if she's ok. Her phone's off. That's strange. He phone is never off! I better ring her house phone.

"Hi is Katie there please" I said to the person who picked the phone up.

"No she is out at the moment would you like to leave a message"

"No thanks" I replied swallowing a big lump down my throat. And I put the phone down.

I knew I should have gone with her! Something bad has happened. I walked out the door and started looking for her. I looked everywhere and there was no sign of her. I came to a park and sat down on a bench wondering where she could be. I heard a scream and I ran in the direction it came from. I was sprinting and sprinting. I heard tyres screeching and saw a car drive away. There she was. I pulled my top off and covered her trembling naked body in it.

"What the fuck happened!" I screamed. Tears rolling down my face.

"I was walking home and this man attacked me," she whispered shivering.
I pulled her hair back and kissed her soft face. We cried together.

"Did you have sex with him?" I asked her.

"No he heard somebody coming and he and his friend drove off"

"There were two!"

"Yeah. They abused me sexually. But we didn't have sex"

"My poor baby" I cried some more and hugged her close and kissed her face.
I pulled off my trousers and gave them to her to wear. Fortunately her house wasn't that far from the park area. I walked her home in my boxers.

"Where have you been!" her mum called.

"Something bad has happened," I said.

She let us in the house and we sat her mum and dad down together and I told them all about it.
