Haushinka, chapter 2
I laid on my bed thinking about this situation when I heard a knock at the door.
"Come in." I said. It was Tre'
"I have this sudden urge to go shopping. Wanna come?" Tre' asked, standing in the doorway.
I paused for a moment. "Yeah, sure. Why not?" I said, sitting up on my bed.
We walked downstairs, chit chatting away, when I saw Mike sitting on one of the chairs in the livingroom. I started to walk slowly then walked fast.
"Dad, Tre' and I are going shopping, okay?" I said to Dad. Mike gave me the saddest look ever.
"Yeah, sure, it's okay. Don't stay out to late, Tre!" Dad said shooting a look at Tre' that made me laugh.
Mike got off the couch and walked outside. Tre' started to go after him, but I held him back. He nor Dad needed to know what happened at the park. Tre', Dad, and I looked out of the window at Mike, who was now punching the bricks on the wall, shouting curse words at it. Tre' shook his head.
"I wonder who it is that he likes, that's going out with someone else." Tre' said. I just gulped.
"Maybe she isn't going out with anybody, maybe she likes someone else and those two people are best friends." I said looking at Tre'.
"Possibly. Ready to go?" Tre' asked me.
"Yeah." I said. I was ready to leave. I couldn't see Mike do this to himself, even if he was my enemy.
Tre' and I went shopping and had a blast. By the time we got back, Mike was gone, and Dad was sitting on the couch, looking stoned out of his mind.
"Where's Mikey-Boy?" Tre' asked Dad, sitting our bags on a chair.
"He left right after you did." Dad said staring at the T. V.
"Did he say where he was going?" Tre' asked, walking towards Dad.
"Nope." Dad said. I could tell he was worried.
"It's okay, Daddy." I said sitting down next to Dad, and laying my head on his shoulder.
"I'm fine. You better get to bed it's- 11:30?! Get upstairs and go to bed." He said with a smile on his face.
"Fine." I said getting up and smiling at Dad. "Good night Tre', Good night Dad." I said heading upstairs.
"Good night!" I heard Dad and Tre' say.
I walked up and told Adie good night, and headed to bed. The next morning I got up and went downstairs for breakfast, to find Tre' sitting on the couch. Dad was on the phone.
"What do you mean you got-? Where? In Nevada?! What the freak where you doing there?! Yeah it does! What does 45 mins have to do with it? Yes, Mike, I know mine was 5 mins long. Yes I can! Why the freak did you get-? Well no freakin duh! Who cares what Haushinka is doing! I'm still trying to figure out why the freak you got-! No it doesn't matter! Are you stoned?! That explains it! Who was that?! Your wife?! Mike that sounded like a man! What the freak?! She's a what?! Oh my God, Mike you-?! She isn't? She's a prostitute?! Oh freak! Where are you?! In a hotel?! Which one?! Oh God, fine I'm coming to pick you up. What happened to your car? You sold it?! For how much?! $25. 00?! Mike, you're a moron! Fine, I'm coming..." Dad said into the phone.
"What's going on?" I asked Tre', who was sitting on the couch. I walked over and stood next to him.
"I really don't know." Tre' said. Dad got off the phone.
"What happened?!" Tre' and I asked in union.
"Apparently, Mike went to Vegas last night and to married. He sold his car and now I'm going to pick him up." Dad said walking towards the front door.
Tre' and I was to shocked to say anything. I walked back up to my room and got dressed. By the time Dad got back, I was bored in my room wondering what Mike's new wife was like. I heard commotion and laughter and after about 30 mins of listening to it, I decided to see what she looked like. I could look over the banister upstairs and no one could see me. I looked over and saw her. She was pretty, from what I could tell. She was a blonde and she was wearing a white tank-top with blue-jean shorts. She was sitting on Mike's lap, and Tre', Dad, Mike, and her were all laughing. I walked back to my room and laid down on my bed. I was feeling some weird emotions and I couldn't figure out why. Was I... No, I can't be...
