"I Did It Billie. I Killed Him.", chapter 4
The morning sun peered through my bedroom window. I had been staying with Billie for a few weeks now. I don't think I've ever met nicer people who would let me stay with them for so long. But Kayla was coming home today, and Billie even offered to drive me to the airport to pick her up.

We stood at the bottom of the escalator, waiting for the delayed plane. Soon enough, I saw my sister coming down the stairs...with a guy? I knit my eyebrows as I watched them come down. She smiled, ran over, and hugged me.
"It's so great to see you, Ash!"
"You too..." I said, confused.
"Sorry..." She let go and stood by the guy. "This is Skyler."
Skyler? When did Skyler happen? I looked him up and down. He was a decked out punk. He had spiky black hair and blue eyes, which gave him a scary appearance. He wore a faded Ramones tee under a black hoodie. He had black pants with chains, and buckles, and big, black boots that looked like they belonged to a big, biker man. He wore a leather wristband with spikes, and the letters p-u-n-k were tattooed across his fingers. I smiled weakly and shook his hand.
As we walked back to the car, I pondered how this could be possible. Kayla? My sister? With this guy? Kayla always got the grades and thought studying was more important than dating. What was going on in her head when she decided to go out with this guy? I knew he was trouble, and I was determined to find out a little more about Skyler.

Later that night, I agreed to let Billie teach me how to play guitar. We were having so much fun, until Kayla and Skyler popped into my head. "What do you think of Skyler?"
"Well, I like his fashion sense."
I laughed. "Seriously, for my sister? Keep in mind she used to be a straight A student."
"I have a feeling you don't like him very much."
"It's not that, it's just that he looks like trouble."
"Hey. I'm punk. Am I trouble?"
"No, but I just know it." I looked away. "It just doesn't seem right."
