You can't take her with you., chapter 8

After the second lesson I went to the school toilet. When I was washing my hands Britney came in and looked at me. She was just looking at me, that drove me crazy.
"Hi," She said after seconds of silence.
"What do you want?" I asked irritated.
"I wanted to ask you if you want to sit at our table at lunch break," She said smiling. Couldn't she stop smiling?
"No I'm sitting already with someone," I lied.
"Yeah but you could be so popular when you're sitting with us! I mean, you're very pretty and when you put off the black eyeliner and don't dress in black you could be one of us!"
I looked shocked at Britney who looked at me and smiled her white-teeth smile.
"First, stop smiling at me. It makes me crazy. And I won't take off my make up and change my clothes just to be one of you bitches. Have I answered your question? Fine!"

After the last lesson I sat on the bench in front of the school and waited for someone who'd pick me up. All of sudden, John stand right in front of me.
"What?" I said annoyed.
"I'm not giving up, Armstrong. Do you wanna go out with me?"
"No!"
John still stood there like he waited for something.
"You will regret it," He said, glared at me and grabbed my hand.
"Don't ever touch me!" I yelled and stood up.
"Leave her," Someone said and I looked at a boy who was standing behind John. He got black hair, was dressed in black and held a skateboard in his hand. Also he got a pierced lip and a pierced eyebrow.
"Oh little punk shut up," John said annoyed. "You want trouble?"
"What you wanna do? Beat me up and then tell it all your little friends?" The boy said.
"Take this little bitch and be happy."
"Thanks," I said smiling when John disappeard. "I'm Marissa."
"Jimmy," He said.
"I never saw you here."
"Yeah I'm new."
"Cool. Tell me a bit of you," I said and tried to start a conversation.
"I'm Jimmy, 17 years old, I love music, skateboarding and hanging out with friends. And you?"
"My name's Marissa, I'm 16 years old, I love music and black clothes."
Jimmy smiled at me and I smiled back. There was this awkward silence which was disturbed by the sound of a car.
"I have to go. Maybe we'll see eachother."
"Yeah I'm sure. And wait. This is my cell phone number. Maybe we could skate today or hang out.. if you want," Jimmy said and gave me a little paper after he wrote his number on it.

"Who was that boy?" Dad asked me.
"Jimmy."
"Mhm Jimmy," He laughed. "Jimmy your friend or your booooyfriend?"
"I'm pregnant, we'll marry next week and move to Los Angeles .... Just a friend Dad, don't worry," I said and gave him a little punch on the shoulder.
Dad was smiling this huge smile until we arrived at home.
