You're So Last Summer, chapter 3
"Well we should probably let you guys go," Fred said.
"Yeah," I said.
We all hugged the guys and said thanks for a really good night and I said bye to Adam. Lillian and I walked out to my car. But on the way out Adam came out and stopped me.
"Hey, umm I know this is weird but could I have your number, maybe I could call you sometime," Adam asked, he was really sweaty.
"Um yeah here you go," I said writing down my cell and smiling.
He looked at it and smiled and said thanks, and gave me a quick kiss on the check and ran back.
"Are you glad I told you to enter?" Lillian asked on the drive back.
"Maybe," I said smirking.
"You cannot tell me you aren't glad that you won a contest, talked to TBS, given a kiss and asked for you phone number by Adam Lazzara," Lillian said.
"Shut up," I said.
"Whatever, when you guys get married, I'm you maid of honor," Lillian said.
"Whoa, he probably won't call, he was just being nice," I said.
"Whatever," Lillian said.
We got home around 1 in the morning. Lillian crashed on the couch and I went and fell on my bed and thought about what had happened only hours earlier. I fell asleep within twenty minutes.
I woke up to my cell phone going off. I had forgotten that I gave Adam my cell phone number, so I thought it was Lillian. Thank god it was Saturday and I didn't have work or school.
"Hello?" I said.
"Hi is this Blaine?" The voice asked.
"Yeah, who is this?" I asked.
"Oh hey it's Adam," He said.
"Oh hey how are you?" I asked. I wasn't that freaked out though.
"Good how are you?" He asked.
"I'm good thanks," I said.
"Hey I had a really good time last night." Adam said.
"Me too, and Lillian did too," I said laughing.
'We're in town for another couple days for a small break..do you want to go out tonight?" He asked nervously.
"Yeah that'd be cool," I said.
"Okay awesome," He said.
I told him my address and he said he would pick me up around 6 tonight.
I finally got up and saw the clock it was one in the afternoon. So I got up and got some cocoa krispies. By the time I was done cleaning the house and eating it was about 4 in the afternoon. I took a shower and dried my hair. I put on one of my white tank tops and brown pants. I put a jean jacket on because it was cold. It was about 5:30 so I called Lillian to tell her about what would be happening in half an hour.
"Hello?" Lillian said.
"Hey it's Laine," I said.
"Hey what's up?' She asked.
"Oh nothing just in half an hour I'll be on a date with Adam Lazzara," I said.
"You're what!?" Lillian said.
"You heard me freak," I said.
"You lucky ho," Lillian said.
"Haha well I gotta go," I said.
"Yeah you do, don't let him in your pants yet," Lillian said.
"You sick freak!" I said and hung up.
"Yeah," I said.
